Food was very good, service poor. We were asked if we wanted more bread, we said yes, never got it. Never got water, our glasses were empty. No Parmesan cheese was offered, we had to ask. We had to ask for everything! We saw our waiter twice, other servers helped, but still poor service!

I’ve been here a few times over the past couple years. Some experiences have been better than others. It’s not a place I crave to come, but it’s not a place a refuse to come either. This last visit was for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. I met my sister with my 2 kids. There was literally only 3 other tables occupied in the whole restaurant but it didn’t make the service any faster. It’s probably because I only saw one server there at the time. The service was lacking this visit, but I’ve never really had an issue with it before today. They offer some good value on their lunch specials and their portions are pretty big. There is always leftovers to take home which makes the value even greater. The food is good, nothing amazing yet, but I definitely enjoy it. I’ll be back, but I have no idea when.

First time ever at a Macaroni Grill and it was okay. The service was great. They accommodated our party of at least 25+. We had a kids table, and three adult tables. They couldn’t split the bill by party, though they were able to split by table, which ended up working out fine for us. Our food was out quickly — It was okay. We had cheesecake for dessert, but this wasn’t your typical Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. Other than the food, I really enjoyed coloring on the table. This is definitely a family-friendly restaurant.

The food is pretty tasty the portions are interested as I thought map I need large portions but I guess it was the brunch menu Stanfords very friendly but I believe it was understaffed to one person for too many tables. I know they have great deals for meals for nine dollars and less than nine minutes or it’s free

My couple of experiences here have been above average; food and service. I’d return again should the mood hit me, without hesitation.

Bib lettuce salad was wilted. Classic Italian Bake consisted of slightly warm meatballs, sausage and undercooked pasta in a cold ceramic baking dish. When questioned, the waitress said the food is put into the baking dish to be served. Very disappointed!

Food: 1 Price: 2 Ambiance: 4 Staff: 1 Cleanness: 5 All I can say is DON’T GOHERE. Things started off good, good ambiance, sat quickly, very clean. Then it went all down hill, food was served dry and over cooked, son’s chicken strip were burned and they forgot his fries. The server flopped the food in front of us and never asked if we wanted cheese, which I did. By the time my wife and I finished our meals, 15 mins later the server tells us fries are sold out WTF. We then asked for Mac and cheese, which never came. We then asked 3 servers for water, and no water. When we discussed our displeasure to the waiter and hostess, they said«yep its a typical Monday.» I did not feel bad leaving no tip today, thanks Macaroni Grill from saving me from ever spending another $$$ here.

So far 1:15 for food. Service was very slow. Bread was delivered without bread plates. We had to get our own. We poured our own oil and grabbed a pepper mill and did it ourselves. One good thing– a chef came out to tell us about he was going to prepare a persons dish who didn’t want garlic. My chicken parm was super spicy, so I got a new one which was somewhat bad. Crispy with cheese, the marinara was tasteless and there were a few tomato chunks. Pizza was doughy, lamb chops were tough. Server was nice.

Standard macaroni grill. No issues with wait staff as others had. Service was good, fast, attentive, etc. Waiter was fairly green but did nothing wrong(and we’re picky!) Food was good, as I said-what I expected. Bread is always fantastic Ya, it’s a chain, but they did fine. I’d go back

It was an early afternoon Saturday, and Schoolteacher and I were out and about adventuring around Santa Clarita. After flipping through my gift cards, we discovered I had one here. So we decided to check it out. She’d been here about a decade ago, I’d never been. We arrived and entered the place. It was surprisingly empty. We were practically alone in the place. As we were lead through the vast restaurant, it was noticeably dark. I was really hoping that in this darkened atmosphere, Unilocal photographs would be possible. I also noticed that the inside walls looked kinda like outside walls. We were seated under an archway that looked like it belonged in some kinda café outside or something. But it was dark and inside. I guess that’s the feel they’re shooting for; «Italian café by moonlight». I’d also imagine that if the place was crazy busy, it would be super loud in here. But it wasn’t, so… it was super quiet. To brighten the mood, there were several crayons on the table. My inner five year old looked excitedly around for a kids menu to color, only to realize that the WHOLETABLE is a kids menu to color. Their table cloth is deli paper. Brilliant! I hurriedly looked for a pen to doodle with, when I came up empty, I suppose the blunt crayons would have to make do. The hostess wrote her name on the corner, left us with menus, and went off to get our drinks. I was torn between beautifying the tablecloth, and looking at the menu. My inner five year old had an arguement with my inner thirty-nine year old and the adult won that conversation. We looked at the menu. The menu is wide, expansive and varied for those with eating issues. It’d been a lil while, and I had a hankering for something somewhat green and healthy. When hostess/waitress came back with my iced tea, I ordered the pollo caprese off the ‘lite’ menu. With a garden salad. Hostess/Waitress had also come back with bread and a great big pepper mill. She peppered and oiled a plate and set the warm bread next to it. While Schoolteacher dug into the bread, I busied myself with my table cloth beautification project. Using all of my considerable art talents, I drew Schoolteacher and myself on a beautiful grassy field… then I got some bread, and adult Scott wrestled mental control from five year old Scott. We decided conversation would be a far better use of our time. We discussed our plans for the day, and before too long our food arrived. The salad was good, crisp, green and what I needed. When the Caprese arrived, it was less of a caprese salad I was expecting, and more of a pasta dish. I wasn’t complaining, but still. Suppose I should have read more into the thing. The chicken was covered in garlic, and there was a pile of basil to the right of the chicken. It was a very pretty plate. After the photo I dug in, and it was good. The pasta was cooked well, the chicken was tasty and the basil was well… basil.(I think it was basil anyways?) Schoolteacher seemed to be quite enjoying her lasagna. It was a slab ‘o lasagna, and it did look wonderful. So the food was good, and since Waitress/Hostess popped in fairly frequently to check in on us, refill our beverages, and make sure everything was ok, Service gets a good as well. I was kinda glad that there were only one or two other occupied tables in the whole restaurant. It was quiet, service was quick, and food was rapidly prepared. I’d imagine that if the place was crazy busy, that would not be the case at all. Good job Macaroni Grill.
