Sooo yummy! Got the the misto shake with lemon and green apple Italian ice with vanilla custard, the best! Great on a hot California day. Love that you can try a sample of everything. Great service and flavor

Love the Italian ices, the fruit ones taste true to the fruit, I especially love the black cherry, banana and one which blends them with chocolate bits and coconut, sort of an Ice Mai-tai. You never know what options you’re going to get because they vary but I’m told they always have mango. Some flavors like Jolly Rancher are clearly for kids and probably too sweet for adults but you can try as many as you like first and mix them together. The staff if super-friendly and if you’re a first-timer they«explain» everything. I haven’t tried the custards because I’m staying away from something too heavy. The sugar-free option was OK, pretty good for sugar-free if you have to have that. Plenty of parking at the mini-mall which is right next to the Marketplace, so you can swing over there for dessert after dinner or just as a destination/

No more frozen custard! They didn’t even tell us until we asked – not cool. What’s worse, the employee actually had the audacity to suggest that the reason they didn’t have custard was because they were doing their part for the environment. That’s complete BS!!! They don’t have custard because they don’t want to pay higher prices for eggs. At least they should be honest with the public. Ridiculous. It’s highly overrated. I am never going back! You just lost a loyal customer.

Great spot for kids! Brought the family here because I know that Rita’s is always a quick and friendly experience. The place is super clean and when you have little kids, that’s a pretty big deal. The ice and custard is the best. Today I tried the lemon ice with vanilla custard. Now I can go back to mango(my favorite) and say I actually tried something different!

The mango Misto is my favorite. I’ve also had the strawberry Misto. SOOOOO yummy and I actually enjoy it a little more than ice cream lately. So, although I love it, it is almost $ 5.00 for a drink so it’s a little pricey for me to make this a habit. I don’t think making it a habit would be beneficial anyhow cause these bad boys are loaded with calories! 500 calories for one drink!!! Holy Mother! Nice spot to enjoy a cool snack only once in a while!

I went in tonight to bring my nephew for an after dinner dessert. We decided to bring our dessert home along with a kid sized ice for his baby brother as well. While trying to order a kid sized ice, I was immediately informed of the policy that that size is strictly for children 10 and under. I felt like I was being accused of purchasing a child size when I walked away ordering three desserts. I know she was following policy but I’ve had better experiences in the past

Custard ice cream for me is better in texture and in taste compared to yogurt ice cream. Every time we visit this establishment, they normally offer new flavor for you to try and taste. Always excellent customer service and encourages you to try new flavors. It’s a must try. Surely you’ll enjoy it.

We always use Rita’s Ice for my daughter’s birthday parties. Setting up catering service is always super easy! Their staff always has a smile on their faces and happy to help! The Mango Ice is always a big hit with the parents and kids!

Finally a soft serve ice cream bakery in LA ! Great tasting soft serve !!! Service is also nice. The gal told a about the business and its history. She was so detail oriented I think she might have thought I was a tester. Either way her pitch was natural and did not seem forced. She also key my daughter and I try a few samples. Ended up getting an ice cream with Italian ice. It was awesome. Going back soon to try something else.

It’s decent, but pricey and very overrated. The custard never seems to be cold enough and the ice flavors are never as tangy and strong as they should be. I always end up walking away wondering why I once again shelled out $ 30 for four of us to have mediocre dessert. Tip: If you’re stuck here because the kids love it, try the watermelon chocolate chip ice. Don’t bother with custard.

I finely made a visit to try Rita’s after several peoples recommendations. A big THANKYOU to Angie who took the time to let me sample and made excellent suggestions on how to mix flavors to achieve a taste bud explosion, awesome flavors. I had green apple topped with watermelon, small chunks of melon still in the sweet goodness with a gentle mix of the apple(does this count as my fruit). Such a nice calm environment, it was a week day, on the week end I imagine it’s packed with regulars. Wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often. Thanks again Angie.

Flavored Italian ice & custard? Heck yeah! I had a mango & pineapple with custard, and it was delicious. The Italian ice does taste a little like artificial flavor but with the custard it balances itself. My kids had regular size Italians ice cups with 3 flavor each and they had no complaints. They finished it to the bottom leaving no drops of ice. The bathroom was nice and clean, perfect for when you have kids. The location was clean and the tables were sticky free and no trash in the floors. It was busy but not crowded. They also have a reward program so if you go don’t forget to join and start earning those points.

Sure this place serves frozen treats, but heck, this is southern California, you can eat that kind of stuff year round. The staff here is great and the treats taste delicious. The flavors are spot on, but don’t get too attached because they change often.

I never thought that Italian ice and custard would go together but Rita’s makes it work. Before Rita’s was put in there was a cold stone that was out of service for a few years. I’ve been waiting for a new place to come in and Rita’s does a good job of filling up that place. It is the perfect treat to get on a hot day. They have amazing seasonal flavors like pumpkin custard and the flavors switch out from time to time. I highly recommend it when you want a new sweet to try.

Only reason I come to Santa Clarita. JK, I come to see my wonderful friends… But Rita’s makes it a lot easier ;-) I usually get mango ice with vanilla custard. However, flavors change all the time. The last two times I went, mango wasn’t there. So I got strawberry-mango and fruit punch. They were okay. I hope mango comes back soon because that is the best flavor. I also love this location because every time I come, there is not a long line, unlike the other SC location.

At first I was a bit skeptical of this place. I really wanted ice cream for dessert, but my boyfriend chose this. All I can say is that I’ve never had anything quite so delicious! I got the blendini, which the girl at the counter recommended to me as a first timer. Basically, it was custard(which I found out totally hit the ice cream craving) layered with Italian ice. I got the honeydew flavor and my boyfriend got cherry. They said they make them everyday and you can totally tell. The best way I can describe the ice is like a really soggy snow cone(which is a good thing, since snow cones always leave you with weird ice chunks) that tastes really light. That, mixed with the heavier custard, was heavenly! The store is also very nice looking with bright colors and clean everything. I really wish they had one where I live since it’s been added to my «must» list when I’m in the area.

This place is great. Cool idea for a dessert treat. I’ve tried the Blendini & Gelati. You can add toppings to the Blendini which is comparable to a DQ Blizzard. It’s frozen custard & flavored ice. I was happy both times. It’s great cuz there are different flavors every day so you can pick new combinations every time you come. Plus its close to home. This may be a regular stop for us!

So far so good. They have done some remodeling so it does not look like the old Coldstone and it looks great. Let’s hope that they will be able to keep the lines down this summer because this place will be packed!
