Santini’s New York Style Deli

They have the best subs and sandwiches in town! I highly recommend the club croissant or the chicken philly!

The food is great here, its made to order, so if you don’t want to wait you can always call ahead for pick up. I ended up stopping by on the way home yesterday since we finally finished our Thanksgiving leftovers (thank God)! They have a big selection of sandwiches both hot and cold. I primarily stick to the chicken philly which I love, and the hubby gets the steak and cheese. Both are excellent choices, I’m also kinda addicted to their onion rings. I’ve been coming here for a while so I’m not sure what took me so long to write a review.
We generally get carryout, we actually ate here before we left to begin our travels for our wedding and since it was actually a nice October day we sat outside so they do have a small patio area. They do have a pretty large eating area with a tv if you want to stay and dine. I’ve had the pizza here too, which is pretty good as well. They also offer pizza buy the slice. They also have excellent chili (its not super spicy which is perfect for me). One of these days I’ll branch out and get something other than my usual but when I want carry out and don’t want fast food this is my go to place.

Simple deli foods. Freshly made with enough care in making the food. Nice little place. Don’t go looking for fast food, they make your food to order so if there’s a wait just deal with it. It’s worth the wait.

The best chicken cheesesteak in northern Virginia. The pizza is good too but that’s by far the best chicken cheesesteak I’ve ever had!

Been here a few times with my family and their food is decent though a few to me a bit had to wait awhile for my subs when we were the only people in there. I’ll probably go again but there’s nothing extra special about this place. Better than subway though

Food is good quality, Tuna is fresher than other places. The sweet peppers taste great on subs. They are fast & use just the right amount of ingredients.

I was craving a Reuben, so I went to the Santini’s in Sterling and decided to write a review. I have been to several Santinis throughout the area over the years, but never on a regular — or even semi-​regular basis. They are good, but not great. Honestly, I think I keep forgetting its mediocrity, since I might only go once in a year or two. The word «Style» in their name really sums it up. Its like a NY deli, but not quite. To me, a NY deli fills the sandwich with so much meat you sit there and wonder how you will even take a bite from it. The Reuben I had was good enough to satisfy my craving, but I have had better. Im happy they didnt overload the sauerkraut, that can really take away from the sandwich. The rye bread was barely noticeable. It just needed to be a little more rye-​ey (yes I just made the word up). The pastrami and corned beef needed more flavor as well. Maybe if they added more of it…
I guess I will keep searching for that perfect deli.

This is my first time coming to this location. They have outdoor seating and a larger room for group seating. I had a New Yorker sub with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut with some Santini Fries. Both were very delicious! You can get bottle drinks and beer here or self serve fountain drinks. There are TVs in the larger room if you want to catch a game while you eat. Definitely a family friendly place that is decently priced, check them out if you want a great sandwich or slice of pizza.

I would travel out of my way to visit the Santini’s In Oakton to avoid the arrogance of Santini’s of Sterling. I get the New York Edge, but at least in Oakton they are Polite with their Edge. The food is comperable though.

I like this deli but this past Friday night went in and ordered a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough toast. The sandwich was good but it was so small compared to what they usually serve me. I may go back and complain. I took a picture of it with what my wife had ordered. I think I should get a free sandwich out of this.

Hidden in the back of a crowded shopping center, Santini’s is a great place for lunch. With plenty of outdoor seating, and a large selection of food and drinks (though alcohol is lacking in selection) and a great selection of deserts.
Classic NY Deli, I had the chicken club, and their signature fries. The chicken was a ¹⁰⁄₁₀ if not a little sloppy and the fries coated in old bay seasoning.
Friendly staff, but obviously very busy. Though tables could use a better wipe down to leave them not so sticky :(otherwise a great place for a good bite to eat.

Pizza was good but one rude staff member. The younger guy was nice but the older guy wasn’t. I am always a pretty nice and cheery person but he totally rubbed me the wrong way. Also the «large» cannoli I bought seemed pretty expensive and small. I will try to post pics later.
The reston location always has nice staff. I will be going there now on.
Being nice counts for a lot– I don’t care how good your food is.
