Autumn was very friendly and she did a great balayage on my hair! I would definitely recommend this place, and furthermore, I would definitely come back again!

Okay, this incident happened several months ago, but just got a Unilocal account so will write about it now. I have been to this salon twice. The first time, I really liked my stylist, I got a single process color and a haircut and then she blew out my curly hair (she said that this was included.) She did a very good job and the total cost was $ 110 ($ 60 for color and $ 50 for cut.) The second time I went there I only needed the color and I had a different stylist. She was very nice and asked me a few times if I wanted her to blow my hair straight. I said no at first, but then I said okay, why not. She did a good job with my color. At this point, I was a customer for life since I was happy here and I hate going to new salons. However, when I go to pay, the receptionist tells me the total was $ 90. I nicely asked why it was so much and she said it was $ 60 for the color and $ 30 for the blow dry. I told her and my stylist, who was standing right there, that I was not aware that the blow dry would be extra and that last time it was included, why is it extra now? She rudely snapped back that because last time I had a haircut and the blow dry comes included with the haircut. I told both of them that I was unaware of that, but they did not offer to take off the extra $ 30, which they should have done. And by the way, if you look at their service menu online, it does not state anywhere that a style is included with a haircut and that it is extra with just a color. I am not a mind reader, so couldn’t possibly know this. Anyways, I am not a fighter, I just don’t have it in me. Even though I was clearly not happy, I was not even offered an apology. So I payed the bill, tipped my stylist $ 20., and knew that I would never return there.
I really don’t understand some businesses, maybe they already make too much money? I get my hair dyed about every six weeks and get it cut about every three months, and occasionally get other services too. I would have gladly given this salon my business for as long as I live here in Loudoun County. Do the math, that is a lot of money. However, because they were so hungry for that $ 30. which they wrongly took for me, they will never see another penny from me again.

I should probably start off by saying I’m super picky when it comes to my thin fragile hair. I’ve been looking for a salon the past two years, and I can honestly say I’ve found it here!
I went today for my first appointment with Amanda, again it had been a while since my last haircut and it was long over due. Amanda asked me exactly what I wanted, I had a picture to shows her and she nailed it! I cut about six (plus) inches off, which is a terrifying experience usually, but this time I left happier than ever! I’m looking forward to more visits here and finally keeping my hair styled and heathy!

Followed my hairstylist here from another salon seems popular with others as every stylist had a customer only complaint would be location and parking other than that no complaints definitely returning as Amanda is great

Called and was able to make my mom an appointment to get her hair done for my brothers wedding they were very accommodating very sweet ladies

This salon was able to give dimension back to my box dyed black hair which is nearly impossible. Can’t wait to revisit! Lauren s great!

Where do I even begin ?! I started coming to salon vie for almost 2 years now and EVERY time I leave happy and looking and feeing more beautiful ! Autumn is beyond amazing and I can now sit in her chair and let her work her talent. I’ve colored my hair and had countless hair cuts with her. I can truly say ever since I’ve started seeing Autumn my hair is more healthier and growing out so much more thicker than what it was (even with all the coloring we’ve experiment with .)
This morning, I had a haircut and she curled my hair for my engagement shoot and as we speak my hair is still in curls & looks wonderful even with being outside all day ! I also had my makeup done with Alicia and that turned out more beautiful than I can ever imagine !
I will continue coming to salon vie as I always walk out feeing my best and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else ! These two women will definitely be apart my glam squad on my wedding day ! Thank you girls for everything you do !

I have been a customer here for the last year and could not be more happy with the customer service at Salon Vie. I have my hair done by a few different stylists and have had a great experience every time. This is my home away from home now. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a salon in the NoVa area.

I have been coming to Emily at Salon Vie since I moved to the area last year and have been very happy with her work. She knows what she’s doing and is has given me lots of tips and tricks for my upcoming wedding style (even though it’s out of the area so I can’t use her!). Her highlights are on spot and bedside manner is great :)

Becca is an amazing stylist and is constantly surprising me with her work. The last time I went to see her she helped convince me to go for a drastic change and I couldn’t be happier. Great service and amazing people.

Becca, has been cutting and styling my hair since she started at Salon Vie. She does an outstanding job and I always get compliments on my new «do». My daughters love her, too! She did a balayage treatment to my daughter’s and niece’s hair and they look gorgeous! I highly recommend Becca, if you are in the market for a new stylist.

It’s taken me years to find someone who can work with my coarse, heavy asian hair. Roxanne has been excellent. She listens to me and gives me suggestions when I just need something different. I have been so pleased with her and reccomend her to everyone I talk to. If she doesn’t like how your hair turned out — she will fix it before you leave the salon. The staff has always been so kind and courteous as well. I love this place.

Lauren is a ｇｅ ｎｉｏｕｓ.
I’ve given her creative control throughout every session we’ve had. I’ve trusted her 100% and she’s blown me away! She’s a visionary and makes hair do things you would never think could happen. My hair was a very dark ash brown. I have been slowly transitioning to a bright blond. It’s taken 3 sessions, today being the third and I’m now a Blond! A bright, soft blond. It takes patience, pure passion & enthusiasm. She’s my forever colorist and stylist! If you’re looking for a fresh new look or even unsure of what you want to do, Lauren will be honest, thorough and give you the color and cut of your dreams.
The Salon atmosphere is fun, comfortable and unlike pretentious salons we’ve all visited, this is a very modern and friendly place to be. The entire staff was warm and it felt like you’re just having a day with the girls. Kind of like a 2015 take on Fried Green Tomatoes with Julia Roberts! You’ll be missing this gem if you’re next visit isn’t there!

I have been here a couple times now and Emily has done an awesome job on both a cut and color! She is awesome! Super fun and easy to talk to. Prices are reasonable and salon is very clean and chic! Would definitely recommend.

Kellie was really nice and made me feel very at ease about a pretty big change in length. She listened to me and even asked throughout if it was what I wanted and adjusted accordingly. The place is cute, don’t be deterred by the weird entry and parking situation.

I came in with a flop and left looking fab! Kellie took care of me and gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had in the last decade. I’ll definitely be going back for a trim and fir my color (which I decided against this time). If you’re looking for a new salon, I suggest trying Salon Vie.

I have been seeing Kellie for my color for a few months now. I absolutely love the results every time, even when I opt for only a subtle change.
