I’ve been coming to Mehran for months now and the food is consistently delicious. I’ve noticed most kabob places have average chick peas, but Mehran hands down has the best chick peas in nova. Staff is great and friendly as well!

Best Haleem in VA suburbs. I have been here many times and they never disappoint. Their buffet is pretty amazing with a lot of varieties. Try the Potato sabzi, chick peas curry, and lentils. Enough options for vegetarians too!

Very good food especially Dal and Chicken Tandoori. The price is also good and they serve buffet in Dinner as well. Their timings are the best in Sterling, whenever you want to eat Indian, it’s late this is the best option.

This place is great, the hours are accommodating, the naan is freshly made, and the food buffet is excellent. Keep in mind that if you’re going to come here, you are coming for the buffet. This is definitely my go-to Pakistani restaurant in the area.

Decided to go back and try the bone in chicken biryani to go. I was much happier than when I had the buffet. The rice was delicious and the chicken was falling the bone. I had it with a side of fresh red onion and the yogurt green sauce. Looking forward to having it again/1

S/o and I came here for July 4 dinner on a whim considering most establishments were closed for the holiday or were not open past 10pm. We found this place and it closes at 1am! The server was kind, and at first sat us at the booth. The booth had apparently just been cleaned, but they did not do a good job of wiping it down. The table had a lot leftover cleaning product and the floor was extremely wet. It was completely unacceptable to sit us there when they did not properly clean and wipe down the table and surrounding area. So we got up and just sat at a table across the booth. We ordered naan, mango lassi, chicken tikka kabob(boneless) and lamb kabob. The dishes came with veggies, rice, chutney, small side of chana masala. Wish we had looked up Unilocal beforehand and ordered tandoori chicken, though! The mango lassi was extremely orange for some reason, which makes me wonder if they used some sort of purée as opposed to fresh mangos. But it was tasty, and it wasn’t too heavy nor too sweet, there was a hint of sourness in there but it didn’t take away from the overall flavor. The dishes were more than plenty and generous, we had difficulty finishing despite how hungry we were! Definitely a place to go if you want something filling. The prices were extremely fair for the portion they give you. I would say the lamb was on the tougher side and the chicken was on the drier side. I wish both of the meats were a bit more tender and it would have been a winner.

My family has been in the restaurant business for 25 years. I know what good service is from both perspectives and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. They made us wait an hour and a half for bread, 2 kabobs, and water but 3 families who arrived after our group came and went and were served bread and the works. They were not prepared for our group of about 19 people, which seems counterintuitive for a banquet restaurant. They took our reservation a month in advance and only had one person running the whole restaurant. The waiter served us 2 appetizers in 1 hour and a half and proceeded to ignore us until we confronted them. Upon confrontation the waiter was apprehensive and defensive and raised his voice in return. He also proceeded to spill food my aunt and didn’t even apologize to her. Worst part of all was that they ruined my cousins celebration of her graduation and demanded full price for it. They had every chance to recover and failed to turn it around. The mediocre food is just not worth the journey through hell.

A friend introduced me to this place and have been going there for some time. This would probably be my last time. The food tasted decent and the price is reasonable. The reason I’m writing this review is my stomach is pain right now and I can’t even remember how many times I been in the bathroom today. My co-worker is in the same situation right now. We both had the lunch buffet and that was the first meal we had for the day. I really hate to put a review like this one bc I know it can hurt their business and I been coming here for some time. I just hope they get a chance to read this and not have this same situation happen again to other people or even worst someone ending up in a hospital. Yes I know for a fact that it’s caused by the food from the buffet or the water.

I went there for diner buffet. The tandoori chicken was very good BUT there is not much to talk about other dishes. Will recommend this place for a budget food.

By accident I found this place, but was very impressed by their fresh selections of buffet foods. The curries and the naan were very fresh everything was fresh. Plenty of extra condiments to add to the food. The waiters were really friendly and took care of us really well. overall I’s say it was a great experience. Thank you.

The best halwa puri breakfast I have had in a long time with freshly fried puris and nans. The Haleem and nihari were delicious. So was the lassi(yoghurt drink). Neat and clean utensils and courteous waiters. The weekend buffet was definitely worth every penny. We were six people who had buffet and three lassies. Our bill was $ 70 with tax

I actually really enjoyed the late lunch/dinner buffet here. I believe it was $ 9. The service was kind of lackluster; I came in really thirsty so that’s probably why I noticed it took a while for them to bring out water. However, they gave us a huge pitcher of ice water for the two of us. That was nice. I also liked the naan bread basket(very generous portion), minty sauce, and small salad they gave us for the table. Nice touches. You can walk in and go straight to the buffet. It’s a little small, regarding food variety but I definitely enjoyed everything. The tandori chicken– OMG. So freaking good. I was satisfied just eating that with the rice and bread. There was a nice subtle BBQ char taste to it. The curries were all good(all chicken I believe). There was one that was a tad spicy but water helped. The potato side with cabbage was a good addition, lentils I could’ve passed, and the chickpeas were yummy. Overall, a hidden spot that’s pretty good for the price. You can’t beat all-you-can-eat at such a great value, and that’s why Mehran gets 4 stars from me.

I have to give this place four stars cos the food is so freakin’ delicious !! The ambience has room for improvement though. I tried their buffet both for dinner one night and lunch another day, the food is Pakistani influenced and was consistently great, they offer a few items on the menu but all of them just tasted great. They bring fresh bread(naan) to your table along with a side salad paired with a great green mint chutney, amazing stuff. FYI, you can also request for tandoori chicken to be brought to your table as well .The best part is that they are open late and have a buffet all day everyday if you don’t want to wait to order off the menu .Very well priced and service was good, all in all a great experience !
