I dined at Al and Leda’s with my family last night. We usually go for pizza sometime during the holidays each year. Last night was a little disappointing. Overall, the place is really starting to look rough. The pizza tasted good, but it took a long time to arrive. The bathrooms are very dirty and my brother sucked a piece of hot pepper through his iced tea straw. I think we’ll try somewhere else next year.

This place has been here for decades, and it has very authentic tasting food. I like the Italian cheeseburger hey been eating these for many many years and they are still great. I prefer to take out for the fact that when eating inside I really don’t enjoy looking at cobwebs while consuming food. this place needs a complete makeover.

Pizza here is OK– nothing great, not bad– For the area, it is the best you are going to do.
I placed an order to go– 1 –16″ vegetarian and 1 –16″ pepperoni.
The bill for the two pizza’s was just over 40 bucks– which seemed kind of high, but we needed the pizza to feed 7 people, and it worked out. No one complained about the pizza, so I considered it a victory.
The staff at Al and Leda’s was great, and the pizza was ready when they said it would be, the place looked nice, but we took the order to go.

Just ordered there deep dish pizza and chicken wings! The deep dish pizza was awesome! They have very good chicken wings! I have always been a fan of Al & Leda’s. Great family run restaurant and great for kids.

the reason to go here is for the italian cheeseburger — which is not really a cheeseburger at all. Its on a sub roll, which sausage patty on the bread, covered in sauce, mozzarella, peppers, lettuce and pickles. Very messy and very delicious. The pizza is good too, but I don’t get there that often so have to have the cheeseburger first

The Al & Leda’s Special is probably my favorite pizza in the area or maybe anywhere but Papa Del’s in Champaign.
