Howard’s Fine Jewelry

Surprised this store has not been reviewed. I think the people are SO nice and gracious… I feel kind of bad, because I was incredibly picky with picking a new setting for an old stone. OMG… searched high and low here and everywhere, thought I’d leave empty handed. They did find a ring, at last (!), just needed a little custom work (removed a small center stone to put in prongs and my stone). My wedding ring hasn’t been more beautiful. Many compliments thanks to them.
I thought I’d try my luck again, and ask for work on an antique Thai princess earrings missing 2 stones. I’ve gone to so many places, tried looking online, can’t find anyone to do the work (didn’t work on antiques, didn’t have the stones, couldn’t work on it with their equipment, can’t get a quote but looking at a few hundred $$, etc). I thought this was gonna be another bust, but no, they called me same day with a good quote. And I had a gift card from my previous purchase.
Turns out my mom has been taking me to them when I was younger, just didn’t remember. So I have quite a few pieces that are still great. They used to be located in Detroit, I believe, but since moved here.

Howard’s prices are outrageous. Never again! I will never visit again.
