TAKE THE STARS & STRIPES FESTIVAL BACK TO MT CLEMENS!
This year, 2015, the fireworks were quite disappointing.
For Sterling Heights, we were quite shocked that the fireworks were not great at all! The Mount Clemens fireworks were spectacular! It was atleast a 20 – 25 min show.
Freedom Hills fireworks were mostly ground fireworks and about a 15 min show. We were almost in disbelief that was the actual fireworks!
Ever since the Stars and Stripes festival switched from Mount Clemens to Sterling hts, it’s been a big disappointment!
It’s all about the money and it’s sad honestly.

What a joke. I took my family to watch the fireworks which was the worst experience ever. Such a rip off they charged $ 15 to park and the fireworks only lasted literally 6 minutes WOW. To top it off it took about 1 hour to get out of the parking lot. Oh dont every eat venue’s food very dirty and nasty. I dont like to write bad reviews but this place made me so disgusted I had to. I ordered the bbq chicken on a stick which tasted like pork butt with lots of fat. I will never come back unless its rented by different vendors.

I love oldies and I definitely want to check Freedom Hill’s upcoming shows to see if any of my favorites are going to be performing here. It’s an outdoor venue, so the only thing that can dampen the experience is rain. The Park is located on Metropolitan Parkway in Sterling Heights near Utica Road. I did not know they had a pavilion on site. I don’t know if the park rents out the pavilion for parties. At the meet and greet with Pete Best, Andiamo’s set up a buffet dinner for which VIP’s paid $ 30 a plate.
