If you are from out of town and looking for some«action» After 9pm you will get conversation, bad/good music from the 60 — 90’s — 30−40s crowd should feel good. 50+ you are walking on. This is late n The best seperate lounges with bathrooms i have seen anywhere. My review is based on 40 years

I wanted to like this place, when I walked in and told my friend that I’d never been in here, and the manager with the mohawk said«yes you have! I said hello to you when you were walking down the sidewalk earlier». Unfortunately it went downhill from there. I went with a big group, and we were treated like dirt once we decided to go to the third floor lounge. We got scolded for everything, like Rebecca G said in her review, «others will treat you like crap». This one guy there got after a friends husband for his hat, telling him to remove it, while he himself was wearing a hat. Whaa? They also got after us for moving our seats closer together, which I could understand could be a fire hazard, but we kept on moving the seats, but we still couldn’t follow their rules. I overheard the manager and the«hat boy» talking about my group and he said that he was going to tell my group to leave if we had the seats misarranged again. I felt bad for the bartender, she had a customer who was treating her like dirt because apparently he thought his wine glasses had to be spilling over in fullness. She made a good lemon drop martini. After I had my martini though I bounced because I was tired of being scolded. Soon after, my whole group left after manager and hat boy tried to take away my friends hat.

Besides the 200 dollar bar tab and the drunk fat chick that apparently thinks she runs the place it wasn’t too bad. House party like atmosphere. Maybe go back. Scott the bartender was a great guy and he makes a great lemon drop.

This place is hit or miss. Regular and fun events make this place a winner. The food is great but a little over priced. Be careful to ensure that the barstaff know how to make the cocktail you ordered, also be aware that if you don’t tip on your card they’ll just TAKE it the next time you come in, regardless of how well you were served. Again hit or miss. Some staff are extremely nice and go the extra mile, others will treat you like crap.

This place is inside Emilio’s. First walked in asked about the music the owner gave us a blank stare. maybe because we looked like we weren’t from the area. Anyway the music was good. nice outdoor area, reasonably priced drinks. Nice place to spend an evening

The Pompei Lounge is an enticing little labyrinth of a bar that we had trouble finding after our server at Zyonoda told us that there was live music there this weekend. We went up the first flight of stairs from the Italian restaurant, then another– where we finally found the cozy little bar opening up into a nice outdoor terrace with plenty of seating and cute tiki torches– and then yet another, where we found the band at last(Sarah Lynna and the Misfit Toys– great band!). The space looked kind of like a living room with model home décor, but somehow it all came together, and though the service wasn’t great(we ended up getting our beers from the downstairs bar), the vibe was totally relaxed and welcoming, and people started dancing as the set went on. In sum, this was a great local place that felt as much like a house party as a bar, with plenty of little nooks, crannies, rooms and terraces(seriously, it felt as though this place went on forever!) to make a night of it with a good group of friends– would love to come back out this way to hear some other local acts! Hopefully, they’re all as good as Sarah Lynna.
