We stayed at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel for a night, and didn’t really feel like going out, so we decided to try Sorrel’s. Not really sure I would call it a restaurant, as it’s really more of a bar with an attached small room with 10 or so tables. They have a very limited menu, but some pretty decent options. We tried the fried tortilla nachos with salsa & guacamole, and they were very good. We both had salads, which were both pretty average. My wife’s bruschetta was okay, but my four cheese penne was very good. The service was as good as Michael could make it. The bar was slammed, and there were probably 20+ people gathered around it(small bar to start with), another dozen at the tables, and he was the bartender AND the waiter. But we were patient, and he got through it okay. But the hotel management team should have given him some help. All in all, if you don’t have the time to go out, or don’t feel like it, this isn’t a bad option right inside the hotel.

Service was awesome, Michael was great. Some of the best Hummus I’ve ever had! Would go back just for the hummus.

Great service on a quiet Monday night. It’s a small and very casual dining experience right off the hotel lobby with good(simple) food.

While staying in the hotel, We ate here on the fourth of July. It was a skeleton crew with very limited service. We waited a long time for very dry over cooked fish and chicken. We won’t try it again.
