Yum, yum, yum! Love the BBQ, ice cream and coleslaw! Great service and neat atmosphere! Our family lives the lemon ginger snap and red velvet flavored!

Good BBQ and the ladies that work there are very friendly. They are happy to accommodate your order however you like. The meal comes with a soda or a shake, but I wasn’t feeling either that day so they let me sub one of those out for an ice cream cone… which was delicious!

Great tasting barbecue. The place has a real kid oriented feel to it. Lots of kites and model airplanes to look at. The Cole Slaw was really good to. We tried the Carolina BBQ, which was tangy and we tried the sweet. They were both amazing. The ladies behind the counter were very nice and let us taste test before buying. Excellent sweet tea and free refills. I would definitely go her again.

I was going to give them 3 stars but I changed my mind because they went out of their way to make sure I left happy. After waiting for my BBQ, two customers who ordered after me received their food before mine. I went to the window and asked where mine was and low and behold it had been sitting there the whole time. No one behind the window knew it was there so I was never called up for it. I didn’t mind too much, I’m a patient person but it was a tad annoying. The BBQ is pretty good, just normal pulled pork, nothing to go crazy over. I was in the mood for BBQ and was from out of town and it hit the spot. Even though I had to wait longer than I should have, the woman behind the window ran out to my car as I was about to pull out and apologized for the mix up. She insisted on giving me a free cup of ice cream to make up for it so I of course excepted. They definitely know how to take care of their customers if someone seems unsatisfied with their service. The free ice cream just got them another start for going out of the way to make a customer leave happy.

Drivin’ from Maine to Nashville just to see the town ‘n stopped in at Hog Wild. Drove right passed the place twice — it’s an ice cream store. Finally saw the little sign at the roadside and pulled into the parking lot. Ice cream on the right, little cashier’s window on the left with a small sign: BBQ. Menu is small as are the portions. Basically, you can have your pulled pork on a bun, or your brisket on a bun. The buns are small and the meat pretty dry. Two sides — and you’re done. Baked beans and potato salad. Lots of little plastic squeeze sauces in the dispenser at the window, along with plastic forks, salt and — you get the idea. Your choice of eating spots: metal tables adjacent to the windows, or wood picnic tables at the parking lot. Although the meat was dry, it was tasty and, given a better presentation, greater portion(for the price) and an interesting spot to enjoy, it could have gotten a three-star rating. As it stands, however, it is really not worth getting off the interstate and going searching.
