BUYERBEWARE! They deliver and install dead grass and then refuse to replace what never grows. They do not stand behind their product. Any other sod company woudl be glad to replace that was dead. Wish I would have gone with someone else, I assumed they would have the same level of customer service as everyone else. The owner refuses who is the«expert» even refuses to speak to you instead, sends communication via the receptionist.

Our landscape company purchased Zeon Zoysia from Georgia Sod in June 2012. The outside company we used did a fantastic job of installing it, but within 4 – 5 days we discovered this new, expensive sod was infected with tons of Nutsedge. I called Ga Sod directly and was told that it was probably new weeds that«blew in» from the area, but funny thing is, none of our neighbors yards have Nutsedge in them and this sprang up in thick clumps in many of the sod patches that were installed. I was told if the problem was too out of control in another couple of weeks they would come and put down something to take care of it. I emailed them photos of the problem a couple of weeks later and had to pay a lawn service ridiculous amounts of money to come in and hand spray the areas(since they couldn’t use a blanket weed killer on this on new sod). It just kept coming up everywhere. No reply to my follow up photos and emails asking for help from Ga. Sod. The summer was a constant battle and the lawn never looked nice because of it. My neighbors were concerned it was going to spread into their lawns. I finally hired Scotts lawn service who have done the best job anyone can to come back weekly and try to help me rid the lawn of this pesky weed, but apparently it’s one of those weeds that once you have it, you are doomed. I am very disappointed in this company selling us this sod, and more disappointed in the way they dropped the ball following up. They say it was certified, but it was a bad batch. If they cared they would have sent someone out to check the situation and replaced a number of the sod pieces that were so heavily infested. But they didn’t. I know times are hard and businesses need every cent they can get(and keep) but I’m just saying… Buyer Beware… Go to Atlanta Sod. My neighbor got Zeon Zoysia from Atlanta Sod in 2011 and never had a single weed in it. It looks gorgeous!
