The Connection at Statesboro

Everything is great, but the room that they show you first is so much better than what they actually are. Also, people are noisy at night. The front office is willing to work with you on really important issues like rent. The only other thing that really bothers me is that there are so many bugs. I don’t know why but there are and it is disgusting.

I’ll give them that the rooms are not bad and the establishment is nice, but they’re a dirty business.
I was told pet deposits would be returned once the pet once was gone. I missed the fine print that said pet deposits are non refundable. So you pay a pet deposit of $ 300 and then an extra $ 25/​mo/​pet to keep them there.
My second contract signing, I took the most basic of lease for my room. Another roommate moved in and told me what he was paying, which was $ 70 less than what I was. This apartment complex will do whatever they can to get the most money out of you. Haggle.
If you don’t return the keys or you lose them, they charge more than $ 200 (3 keys total).
Upon leaving my apartment, I checked the furniture that was provided by the establishment to see if there was any damage. There wasn’t, yet I’m still receiving a bill asking for a ¹⁄₃ of the cost of the furniture. The ¹⁄₃ of the cost of the furniture adds to more than what the furniture is worth.
They stole my cat’s litter box. I’m thinking they thought it was contraband because it was still around after I removed my pet from the contract and the apartment. When they stole it, they must have tossed it everywhere because there was a huge mess of litter in the floor of the apartment. I was billed for the mess they made.
If you need a place to live in Statesboro, don’t be wowed by the facilities of the Connection or the bonuses they are offering. Go to another apartment complex, let them know what the Connection’s prices are and the other complexes will lower their prices. AVOID THE CONNECTION UNLESS ITS THE ONLY CHOICE!
