Ate here twice. Food is great, service a bit slow. Enjoyable, but could be improved.

I would like to be able to review the food at Mr. Omelette’s Midtown Market, but I cannot. I went to this cozy looking small restaurant this morning with a party of 6. After being told to sit wherever we wanted, we took a seat at a large round table on their patio. It took the waitress about 5 minutes to bring us our menus, of which she only brought 5 for the six of us, and then she immediately left without taking our drink order. 23 minutes later we were still waiting to see her again. It should be noted that while there were many other tables with customers seated, they appeared to have only seated up to 50−60% of their capacity. In the meantime, two other tables on the patio were seated, brought drinks, and had their order taken. When we flagged down their waitress, she told us she would get our server and quickly left. After another 3 – 4 minutes, our server still had not come by. After sitting there for approximately 30 minutes without even drinks, we decided to leave. The menu had a large variety of breakfast food and many specialty omelets. It’s too bad, as I would have liked to try some. This was terrible service. We will not be heading back. Ever.

Coffeeshop has a good atmosphere. Service is OK. Pancakes are gigantic. Haven’t had the omelettes yet but they have every type you can imagine.
