Their California roll is great. But my absolute favorite is the pumpkin tempura sushi roll. The bubble tea is good as well.

Speedy service, fresh food & great customer service! I often stop in to have lunch or order at home — either way I have never had a bad experience and all menu items — from sushi, bento boxes, chicken wings, etc… This place is just awesome & good for your pockets !

My daughter loves bubble tea, so she’s happy to find a place nearby. All her friends have been raving about this place.

Excellent food for a very affordable price! Had bubble tea, sushi and a teriyaki box for $ 18! Service was really good too, the owner offered to give us free lemonade. Sushi was fresh and well made too :)

Great food for a small neighborhood asian restaurant. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Just an update, broke out in a horrible rash immediately after eating fish from this place. For your own well being, find some place better to have a meal.

we ordered two $ 6.5 lunch special, with noodle. They say on the website that min $ 12 free delivery, but instead they charge us extra $ 2 dollar. we also tip them. After all these deliver fee, tax, and tip, and $ 6.5 chicken teriyaki cost $ 9 each after all the B.S. It’s totally not worth the money. The chicken taste like they were cooked many time, and reheated. We called the restaurant hoping they will correct there mistake, instead they gave us attitudes and hang up our phone. Worst service ever.

Delivery sushi is never really a great idea, and every time I do it I am reminded what a bad decision it is. I went with the pick 3 rolls, which was very reasonably priced at $ 11. I got spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy whitetail. The crunch in the rolls was chewy, and the fish tasted off in 1 roll. The color was indistinguishable from roll to roll, so I can’t even say which tasted the best/worst. The ginger also tasted old. The seaweed salad was good, but served over iceberg lettuce, which I see more and more of now and do not really like. The spring rolls were good, and the dipping sauce was good, but very small. It said 2 pieces, but it was really the size of 1 small roll cut in half. Overall, maybe the fish is fresher when you actually go there, but delivery sushi from this place is a no-go.

I came here to get take out for dinner a few days ago. The Chinese lady working the register is super duper friendly! She had regulars that she greeted by first name which I thought was pretty cool. We got a chicken and beef teriyaki. The chicken and beef were pretty good. Made fresh and the portions are generous. The fried rice that came with the beef was pretty awesome too. I’d definitely order this again. The price isn’t bad either! We also ordered a shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and tuna avocado. I would give the sushi a pass here. It was just okay. We got a Thai Bubble Tea and that was also okay. If you’re in the mood for some bubble tea, Yummy Machi is the place to get it in the area! As far as I know, no other place in SI carries bubble tea.

Every time I come here, I am welcomed by friendly staff, a clean, comfortable and relaxing environment and absolutely consistently delicious food. This place has great sushi made in front of you to order, various combo meals and specials, a convenient location with ample parking and online ordering– what more could anyone want?! Lol. The chicken teriyaki is fresh and well seasoned, and the salmon and tilapia teriyaki are both cooked perfectly and equally tasty. This is my favorite sushi place hands down. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

There are absolutely no words to express how amazing the food and the customer service I received here recently. My fiancé and I were coming home from Manhattan and she was in the mood for sushi. Now sushi, depending of where you get it, can be rather expensive. But I looked this place up on Unilocal and saw the menu and was in shocked of how low the price was. As we waited for our order, I noticed how the owner of the restaurant(Irene) was extremely friendly and very warm. She walked up to each customer genuinely asking whom they were and where they came from. For us, Irene gave us free lemonades on the house. I was not expecting that at all!!! She congratulated us on our engagement and wished us a well. The food alone was SOOOOOO good. True quality food made from scratch! Highly recommend this place, cheap food for a good price!!!

Yummy Machi is a great little sushi restaurant on Staten Island. Prices are great, super friendly service and really fresh fish. They are not reinventing sushi but they are doing it right. Very pleasant experience!

Very nice staff! I talked with the lady who co-owns the place and she’s super friendly. Asked me about my life, offered to do extra stuff to make my meal better, offered a free lemonade. Really appreciated that. I was frustrated with the long wait time. As I waited they served several other people and didn’t even take my drink order until the end. It felt disjointed, and it felt like a waste of my time for me to stand there for five plus minutes. I was literally reading the news because they were doing so much else. The food is good. I got vegetable teriyaki and latte bubble tea. I enjoyed the rice, although I wished they had a better variety of vegetables(like more carrots). The bubble tea was crazy good, and wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. The friendly owner makes it an overall win.

So I ordered dinner to go and it’s the second time I have done this so I figured it was time to review. Service is very fast and I have to say the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the chicken breast terriyaki with fried rice, it was very good. I do have to say that the fried rice was definitely white rice mixed with some type of teriyaki as opposed to your traditional soy sauce. It didn’t taste like your normal pork fried rice but still pretty good The last time I went I ordered a California roll and that was also pretty good. I feel a little weird about ordering sushi there because it’s not your traditional sushi spot so I get nervous when it comes to fish(even though all California rolls consist of that fake crab meat) The sushi counter isn’t very big and I’m not sure how long the stuff has been sitting. Not to say it’s not fresh I just get weirded out when it comes to fish and I don’t really know the turn over. Needless to say I’m still alive lol. I also have had the mango bubble tea which was delicious. This was my first time having bubble tea so I have no idea what those gummies are in the drink but I enjoyed it. It seems it’s something to enjoy when the weather is warm. It’s very refreshing.

I can’t get over. they deliver to my house.!! The food was good. The beef Teriyaki extra meat lasted two meals. Not a sweet Teriyaki. and it taste better the next day. It even taste good cold. Loved the TEMPORA. Susi. not so much. I’ve had some really outstanding Sushi. SO my standards are very high and there is no place on SI that meets my requirements at this time. I will order again. for Delivery. but I’ll look elsewhere if I’m eating out.

The north side of staten island needed a place like this. I’ve been to this restaurant quite a few times. My favorites are the garlic wings, dragon roll, chicken teriyaki, and this deep fried crab meat thing(sorry the name escapes me). I would have given this place a 4 star rating but the staff there is extraordinary so they deserve a 5 star rating. I had to wait a bit long for my take out order one night and while I was waiting they made a complimentary peach tea for me. That was a pleasant gesture that will keep me coming back.

This small, little restaurant is only a few minutes walk from where I work. I figured I should check it out and if it’s good, I’ll come back during my lunch break. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially the sushi. However, you do get what you pay for. I ordered 3 rolls for $ 10.95. Normally, this is the price for most restaurants for lunch specials. But, at Yummy Machi, you get this great deal all day every day! Spicy Yellowtail: too much crunchy stuff; I couldn’t even taste the yellowtail Salmon avocado & white tuna avocado: OK; the avocado was bigger than the fish The wasabi, for some reason, tasted a bit odd. It also wasn’t bright green. It might have been getting old… Overall, this place is OK. The workers were friendly. I will return and try out other dishes. Hopefully, as I come here more often, the food will be better! :) Maybe I’ll try a bubble tea next time!
