Used Romeo for our wedding, lets start out with the plus. The photo’s came out great, working with the father and son was a pleasure. The only down side was the album cover took alot longer then it was supposed to, and instead of telling us, it was more of a go around, call back, should be in, wasnt in. All said and done, I recommend them, because of their talent, the people skills in the office lack, but again, if you want a great video and wedding album, stick with Romeo.

My wedding was on 8÷12÷11. My husband & I booked our wedding with Fran the woman who runs the Staten Island office. The day of the wedding everything was great. Michael & his dad Joe were pleasant to work with, very nice & they took great photos. Right after my honeymoon we got our proofs back which was so exciting. We loved all of our photos. The problem came after that. We had ordered an album I guess that the cover came from a different country(from what I was told). Fran had told us that after we give our proofs, the album would be ready within 6 months & the video a year. So when the 6 months mark came for our album to be ready, we called Fran. Instead of her telling us that the book was going to take longer, or that the cover was on back order, she just kept saying«it’ll be done next week, it’ll be done next week.» So like any normal person that spent thousands of dollars on pictures, I called her the next week. She then just kept giving me the run around saying«one more week, one more week.» This turned into probably 3 more months. If she would’ve just told me from the start it would take a few more months I wouldn’t have gotten as aggravated as I did. I just felt like I was being Pacified & I didn’t like that one bit. Finally the album came & the end product was beautiful, but it didn’t take away my aggravation. Then when it came to the video, that took a little longer than she had said but I wasn’t as bothered with that. However, we did pay for credits to come up on the end of the video with everyone’s name from the bridal party & that was missing from the video. Her response to that was«bring it back.» Shouldn’t you be reviewing the video before giving it to me? Or reviewing what we had paid for & made sure we had everything we wanted? I never brought the video back for the credits to be added because I feel like I’ll never get my video back then once they have it. Not that they’ll keep it from me, but they’ll take their time on something so little & simple. Now a year &3 months after my wedding — when we first placed our order we had ordered two Grandparent photos. After realizing we have 4 sets of Grandparents, we requested 4 pictures instead & we requested them as 8×10’s. At first my husband had called Fran & naturally she wasn’t in the office. So he left a detailed message with what we needed & with the photo number & his phone number. She never called him back. I had to call HER back. She then said she got my husband’s message but he left out the picture number & his phone number which was a LIE because I was standing right next to him when he left that message. So I just told her(the first week of October) what I wanted. This had to be around 10⁄2 or 10⁄3. She then said it’ll be done in 3 weeks which put us at the 19th& she would call when they were ready to be picked up. I wrote it on my calender that she had said the 19th. OK fine. The 19th came & went with no phone call. Then on 10/27, Hurricane Sandy struck so obviously I wasn’t concerned about photos because I had damage & bigger fish to fry so I left it alone for three weeks. Finally — my husband called her on 11÷13÷12, she right away knew who he was & right away said«we were closed for two weeks. I’ll call Michael now & then call you right back.» She never called back that day. Now I understand she was closed for two weeks, but my photos should’ve been ready the 19th which was a whole week & a half before Sandy. What was their excuse? There was none. When my husband called her that day she rushed him off the phone & didn’t even take down his phone number. I called her this morning & left her a lenghtly message. I am very disappointed by this. I feel like she thinks that she got all of our money & she puts us on the back burner whenever we say we need something regarding our photos. When really, your past clients are your most important because word of mouth gets business & that means her future clients would be affected if we didn’t like how we were treated. I have to say again, Mike & Joe were TERRIFIC. It’s Fran in the SI office that we have our issues with. I also don’t like being lied to & I feel like she’s done a lot of that to us just so we leave her alone. You shouldn’t treat people that gave you a ton of money like that. We’ll see if she calls me back after that message I left her this morning.
