New York Community Bank

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. I have been banking with NYCB for almost a decade now and there are no more excuses for using this bank when there are so many other (and better) options available on the island. Customer service overall is very poor, availability of functional ATMs is spotty at best, and the products & services they offer fall very short of their competitors — especially for mobile platforms. I can’t wait to get everything sorted out over the summer and sever my relationship with this bank once and for all.

Decided to go back to NY Community bank after 6 months of chase that were not the best… Opened up an account at a Garden State location in Monroe, NJ…
The reason I left NY Community Bank originally was because I was residing in Plainsboro and there not many NYCB branches/ATM’s in the area,
The website of NYCB wasn’t updated and more banks in Middlesex County and Mercer County (which I believe were Synergy) were finally lsited
Most of the employees that were directly at the banks do have brains…
Now onto the call center…
The call center which is in OHIO need to go… The personnel are rude and refuse to help the customers when they call and state that they cannot reverse fees over the phone and want you to run into a branch at any given notice…
Whoever is in charge needs to train their employees on how to be professional…
I was on the phone with them with my fiancé last night when a female rep answered the phone… The way she was talking it was more like she was hitting on the customer like she wanted to take the customer out on a date…
Totally unacceptable…

Ive been banking with them for awhile. Quick easy and nice. A lot of parking theirs a drive thru and atm.
