They recently had their first online auction. The auction was very efficient, worked very similar to an Ebay auction, and had some stellar wines available. They also had the lowest sellers fee I have seen yet. Many were above my pay grade, but there were all of the best vintages of the First Growths and Grand Crus that you would expect, along with the best from the U.S., Spain and Italy. Maybe one day. It was nice to look through the 300+ lots and daydream during a slow day at work. I myself picked up a wonderful magnum of 1971 Château Beychevelle, and a six pack of 1995 Louis Jadot Beaune Clos des Ursules both at considerable values, which were promptly shipped. Again — in standard fashion for Mission — when I opened the first bottle after letting them rest for two weeks it was in perfect condition. I hope they are planning on many more auctions in the future.
