This joint serves up some old-school slightly doughy crust pizza with above average mozzarella. If there were other options around they might merit 3 stars but considering the location and food quality they deserve the extra star. I’ve had their BBQ and buffalo wings which place well above local competition. I’d like to add that the owner is friendly and polite. Much better than other local shops which are run by teenagers who could care less about the job or the customer. Seating consists of 44-seat tables with lots of space down the middle. Call ahead for pickup or delivery. They also accept credit cards.

Best pizza on Staten Island! Everyone must go and try their Grandma slice! Michelangelo’s — Good pizza, good family-owned business.

I had to enter in this business myself. Every time I do that I’m reminded of a scene from Psych, after Juliet asks Shawn and Gus to keep a secret: Shawn: What’s the word, Gus? Gus: That would be «mum,» Shawn. And I’m reminded of that scene, not just because I watched that episode on DVD about 15 minutes ago and wanted an excuse to pretend that I am really good at obscure references, but because in today’s online world I find it surprising that restaurants don’t create a Unilocal account before they even open their doors. I work as an online marketer, I take on clients from all over the world, and from now on the first thing I’m going to do is make sure they’ve created a Unilocal account, because we found this place by accident while looking for the place we saw on the Unilocal app, not because we were looking for it. Well here you go, Michelangelo. You now have a Unilocal account. You have reached a new plane of fame. You’re welcome. In lieu of cash, send me extra cheese. Oh, and their pizza was good. I got two slices and I have no idea what else to say about cheese pizza. Cowabunga dude.
