Have to say it’s probably one of the best pizzas I’ve had on staten island. Nice thin crust pizza. And prices are fair compared to some other places in the neighborhood. There staff was very nice. Will definitely be going back.

Will not be ordering food from here again. The food itself is fine — solid Italian fare, but nothing special. Delivery and customer service, however, is where these guys fall short. Reading previous negative reviews, this seems to be a trend for them, so diners and delivery should think twice before ordering from here. There are just too many other, better options on SI. I placed an order with them on seamless. About 5 – 10 minutes later, I get a call from them that they are rejecting my order and I need to call Seamless to cancel it because they are«too busy»(…on a Wednesday night), and they close at 10(I placed my order at 9.15 and live 15 minutes from them). According to the person on the phone, by the time the delivery guy got back, it would be 10.15, a whole 15 minutes after they normally close. Since it was a smaller order, it basically wasn’t worth it to them. If a restaurant wants to give themselves a window before closing to complete deliveries, then do so via seamless and turn off deliveries after a certain time. I should not have to order, get a call some time later, have to deal with calling seamless to cancel the charge, and then go re-order food from elsewhere, just to start the wait all over again.

Ordered off grubhub for lunch. Minimum $ 10. All I wanted was a meatball sub, but that only came to 8 $, so I threw in some fries. Well that was a mistake, I paid $ 3.75 for soggy, unsalted, inedible fries. The meatballs were awesome, but the marinara got under the balls in the sub and basically dissolved the bread. So I had a soggy sandwich and limp fries for lunch. Great.

Worst pizza I ever had, came an hour and ten minutes after I order and was ice cold. Had friends call multiple times during the wait be cause it took so long, the woman on the phone acted like a total ass and scolded my friend for calling, probably the worst pizza place on Staten Island 0⁄5

I give this place 5 stars because of creativity and it’s truly One of the very best granma pies I’ve had in a long time … The dough was very light and crispy with just the right amount of sauce after I was done I couldn’t help but tell the counter person the basil tastes so fresh that I could still taste it he then told me that’s because we don’t put the basil on the pie until it cools down otherwise it loses it’s true basil taste.(very smart guys!!!) maybe some of the other so called pros should take his advice defiantly food for thought as they say sometimes even the smallest things really matter… I can’t wait till the next time I have the guys over I’m deff ordering a couple of these pies … Will be back very soon!

I have been coming to this place since I was a kid. I knew Joe when he was the owner and his whole family. They sold it to another owner and they kept his tradition. They make the best i mean the BEST pizza rustica on the Continent.

We went here for lunch today and we loved it. It’s a pizzeria on one side and a restaurant on the other. The pizza was thin crust and delicious, the eggplant parm was great and I ordered the seafood salad which was fresh and huge. The service was great. We will definitely be back and real soon!!!

Excellent food! Always worth a trip whenever we come to Staten Island. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you — it is in a drab area and when you walk in, you think you are walking into a pizzeria. Look to the right, and you will see a nice, well-appointed dining room. The seating is a little close together and it could get noisy. Service is casual, but I have never had a problem. Dinner rolls are a must!!! Worth the calories. I judge Italian restaurants by their eggplant parmigiana, and the eggplant here has been consistent every time. Always cooked perfect… always tender. The pasta is also never overcooked. The prices are very reasonable, and you can order small plates of regular sized meals. With soft drinks, meal, tax and tip, you can leave spending less than $ 30 for two people.

I have been coming to this place since it first opened almost 30 years ago as a pizzeria. The original owners have sold but the food is still great, and those dinner rolls. I would recommend this place for the rolls alone. Tables might be a bit too close to each other, but then you get to see what everyone else is ordering. Great place to sit and enjoy with that special someone.

We ordered pizza and the calamari. The calamari was terrible. Isn’t calamari supposed to be breaded? Well this calamari wasn’t, I have to say this was not the best calamari I have ever had. Please change your recipe. The pizza was good though, so I have no complaints there.

My friend and I called ahead to find out if they would deliver to her address. The man who answered the phone assured us that they would, indeed, deliver to where she lives. When we called back five minutes later, we were told, rather rudely, that they don’t deliver here. When we said that we had just called and were told they would come here, we were told«that was before». Needless to say, they lost 2 prospective customers. Way to go, Kings.

Horrible Restaurant. It’s unbelievable of how god awful the margarita pizza was. It was soggy and the sauce was sliding off of the pizza. What’s the worse part is that delivery took forever and not only that, the price was different from when I placed the phone order. I should have looked more carefully at the reviews. Most of the reviews are sham reviews — one or two reviews on the restaurant only.

I always go here. And I have no complaints about the place now that it’s under a new owner. Delivery was a problem when I received cold pizza on more than one occasion but the owner was apologetic and even gave me a free pie. Haven’t received a cold pizza since.

I was in the mood for pizza and after seeing the reviews for this place and snagging a Unilocal deal I decided to try it out. My girlfriend and I were glad to see when we arrived that there was a nice and cozy seating area off to the side. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were both helpful and fun. The warm bread and butter they served was very good. The drink selection was not as varied as I would have liked with a very limited selection of beer and wine, but they had a small bar and our waitress mixed a few cocktails for us. They were fairly good. The ice in the one cocktail had some off flavors but since our waitress had offered it as a complimentary beverage we decided it would be poor manners to complain. We both ordered different specialty salads and the vegetables were fresh and tasty. Finally, as for the pizza, I was pleasantly surprised. We each ordered a different personal sized pizza one white, and the other red. The white was a little dry but plenty of good flavor. The red was excellent. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received. All in all I thought it was an above average pizza joint and would go back there and eat again.

After a long day of cleaning, BF and I decided to treat ourselves for dinner and opted to take advantage of the Unilocal deal at Kings. Upon entering it looked like your typical pizza establishment but a few more steps in and we entered the dining area. Reminded me of a Little Italy restaurant. We were greeted by a lively waitress who set the tone for a fun evening. We started the meal with the arugula salad and the insalada mista. Both were very good — the arugula should have come with a lemon dressing according to the menu but it was obviously a balsamic vinaigrette. No matter, it was still good. We enjoyed the bread and think it may have been made on the premises(?) — it definitely tasted fresh. We each ordered drinks — a Manhattan and pomegranate martini. The martini tasted a bit like cough syrup but I hadn’t read what is in the drink so it may be typical for that mix of ingredients. As luck would have it, our waitress asked us if we would like to try a drink she concocted, the Pink Lemonade. We obliged. I really enjoyed the taste of the drink– better than the martini!- but the ice had a strange flavor, almost reminiscent of rotting vegetables :(Our waitress was totally fun though and we appreciated the perk. Personal pizzas were both of the thin crust variety and we really enjoyed them. I ordered a white pie with broccoli rabe and sausage and thought it was great. It could have been a little less dry, but overall I loved that familiar bitter broccoli rabe taste, mm! The other pizza was a vodka pie with prosciutto and olives. Really good flavor! Overall, I would definitely try this place again. The décor and service may not be impeccable and chi-chi, but that’s not necessary to impress me. Wait staff was attentive enough and comical, which really set the tone for a fun evening and I’m very appreciative of that!

As the other reviewer said, I’ve eaten a lot of pizza. Ordered from this place on a whim when I first moved to Staten Island because it was the only menu I had in the house and it was close by. Definitely glad I did! Some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. Toppings are plentiful and fresh and the plain slices doesn’t even seasoning added to it. Plus the prices are fair.

A buddy of mine took a friend and I back to the neighborhood where he grew-up. Until that day, I thought I had eaten good pizza. He took us to King’s and the rest is history. This was(and still is) hands-down the best pizza I have ever put into my mouth(and I’ve eaten A LOT of pizza in my day). Their Sicilian pizza is AMAZING. We ordered the basics(pepperoni and sausage). You gotta love the thinly-sliced sausage… If you’re within a couple hours’ driving distance, this place is worth the drive! I can’t wait until another trip to NYC, as King’s will definitely be on the list of stops!!!
