I waited a really long time to see her as an initial visit. I was supposed to have a full body check. Instead, she came in the room, exclaimed, «Why are you here? Your skin is fine!» Shook her head and RIPPED open my paper gown down the front. I had to spit out concerns I had as fast as I could. She cut 2 things off and made me get dressed with her in the room while she typed notes. She didn’t check my body and sold me a cream that I’m allergic to. She offered me $ 400 a session laser treatment for my rosacea. She also proceeded to tell me my other dermatologists didn’t know what they were talking about when I tried to have her look at another area of concern they had in the past. I don’t trust her. A note, I am fair skin, lots of freckles and some moles. I guess I have no business being seen by a dermatologist(sarcasm).

If you are a patient doing Accutane, DONOT do it here. With Accutane you need to be confirmed monthly. They’re very unreliable, and will push back your Accutane process with their neglectance towards their Accutane patients. Even after I spoke to the office manager, a month later I found myself sitting at the pharmacy for an hour waiting to be «confirmed» by them yet again(Third month, same problem) I’ve gone days without my pills due to THEIR error. Also, don’t bother calling this place. They’ll bounce you around to every extension. Clearly they’re good doctors here, I understand that because if they have millions of patients. However, when you’re dealing with that many patients there’s only one solution… and that’s to hire more staff. Management needs to step up. Based on reviews i’m not the only one. Yes patients sit in their waiting room for up to 3 hours And to top it all off, the lady at the front desk is the nastiest woman. Its such a shame because I love my doctor there, however after this Accutane I wont be coming back.

Part of being a physician is treating your patients with respect. The doctor herself is an intelligent woman. However, though I may look young, I am a fully grown woman who was treated as if I was a child being scolded by her mother instead of simply explaining the answer to my question. I asked one simple question with no arrogance or hatred in my language, and was mistreated by her staff. The medical assistant stood in the corner while this was going on, silent. The PA’s name was Colette. If you must come here, I’d go to Diana. She’s the ONLY staff member with any respectful mannerism. I’ll be a physician myself in just a few years from now, and I would never speak to my patients the way Colette did.

Go to a real dermatologist because this woman is all about $$$. If you want some cosmetic things done she’s your woman but if you want some real help from a doctor forget this place. First off she has an young woman come in and input all your information into the computer she will ask what is wrong types it into the computer and so on. Then you WAIT. Then the physician’s assistant comes in sits at the laptop with your file on the screen and rambles, doesn’t getup to look at the patients issues one on one just rambles as the young woman who input the information explains the issues as well. Then they try to sell you stuff didn’t offer a generic form for rosacea treatment that my insurance would cover just went on to tell me that it is a good price and goes for alot more money. Then they try to sell me a facial cleanser that I was told was $ 12 then the young lady came back and said it was $ 20. After looking at the ingredients I wouldn’t pay anything for it and declined. It had harsh chemicals in it and I did not need to go to the so called dermatologist office to know that harsh chemicals are bad for all especially a person with rosacea! OK so after the physicians assistant is done rambling she leaves and there is ANOTHERWAIT for DR. LEDERMAN. She comes in says hello the physicians assistant once again rambles on what she offered/prescribed and the Dr. says a few words(which are hard to understand because she has an accent) and that’s it. What a waste of time/money with 0 solution unless I chose to buy the cream and wash they offered and some pills that I can take for months(who the heck wants to take pills for months??? Surely not me). I was referred by a family member and even though I saw negative reviews I figured I would give the office a try. Never again! I will go with my gut instinct and online reviews which have never steered me wrong before. Wouldn’t waste a trip here. BEWARE.

This is the worst dermatologist on Staten Island. Reception staff is horrible. Standing room only in lobby only to have the staff loose your chart. Ive been here since 5 pm … Going on two hours. Last one here & maybe they will see me. Find some place else to go… Not worth the disrespect

First time here. 1.5 hour wait. Everyone running around like chickens without a head. Do yourself a favor and goto a place that respects their patients time.

I wish I could put zero stars because this office does not even deserve the one. I have been a patient with Dr. Lederman(or should I say her PA) for several years. I think I met her once. I was approved for a hyperhydrosis treatment back in February, I waited… and waited… and waited… and then at the end of May I cancelled the request. My insurance requested the office pay for the botox then they will be paid for the services and medication. Lederman’s office claimed they will not do that because they demand to be paid first. Their contract with my insurance states they must perform the procedure then they will be paid. It was an absolute nightmare and I would not send my worst enemy to this office. The staff is beyond unfriendly. I will tell anyone that would listen to me — do yourself a favor and AVOID this office at all costs.

The Worst Office Staff I have ever dealt with in my life. After leaving a crazy amount of messages because they do not answer their phones. No one ever calls you back. I have seen this Dr exactly one time since I started 8 months ago. Her staff is only P A ‘s. I decided to go find a new dermatologist. She gave me no choice medication I needed had to have prior authorization. Insurance company had requested from her my clinical reports & they weren’t sent in a timely manner. Therefore my meds weren’t authorized. Do yourself a favor and do not use her. You’ll be sorry

Absolutely love this woman. When I first came to see Dr. Lederman at 15, she yelled at my mother for not allowing me to wear sunscreen. And she was right to, as now at 22 I have skin cancer. My acne is disappearing after dealing with it since I was 7… All in all, the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and the wait time is worth it. After all, people go to her for a reason… she knows what she’s doing! If there weren’t any people waiting in line, I’d be worried.

Zero bedside manner. She rushed through my appointment as if I were inconveniencing her by coming to see her. She rushed in, barely looked at me, typed some stuff on her computer and walked out within a few minutes. Really awful experience.

I had a small mole removed from a delicate area — upper inner thigh — and the P.A., Colette DiPierro, could not have been more professional. The process was painless, nice incision with no problems. Went back a few days later for follow-up with a very short wait. Would recommend.

I had come in for a growth under my eyelid. I ended up being referred to a surgeon after Dr L examined it, however I was very impressed with the office and staff. The front desk, the assistants, as well as the doctor, were all very polite and professional. The entire place is kept very clean, and exam rooms are private, so you don’t have anyone gawking at whatever abomination you came in there for. All jokes aside, this office gave me one of the only positive experiences I’ve ever had in the medical profession. Thanks Dr Lederman!

Waited on hold for 10 minutes and was suddenly disconnected. Called back and said I was hung up on, no apology offered but and I quote” Well I’m here now”. Asked for fist appointment for my son and I still had to wait 50 minutes! Really? What’s up with that? I bet if we were on the Mob Wives we wouldn’t have had to wait. It seems that these derm docs think they are princes/princesses among men. Not going back, ever.

This may be the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. First the wait time was excruciating, when I arrived I was told there were two people ahead of us(my 12 year old son was the patient). After an hour and fifteen minutes we were brought inside. I then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes when I look outside of my room and see Dr. Lederman in an office with someone who came in 45 minutes after I had originally arrived! I question one of the assistants about it and she’s completely clueless, when I ask her who I can speak to about this her answer was«I don’t know». Dr. Lederman comes into the room, completely unfriendly and asks«why we are here». I say a followup from December. She looks at my son and says«he has acne». Um duh? We know that. I explain that the creams she gave us last time haven’t helped at all. She asks what did I give you last time? I said, I don’t know the exact names, don’t you have a chart? She says with a major attitude«we have a new software and it’s slow» as if that’s my problem. Between her thick French accent that can barely be understood and her horrible demeanor, I couldn’t wait to get out of this place. She prescribes some new cream and pills as if she’s doing us a favor. She barely examined my son, I would say 30 seconds tops after a two hour wait! A good doctor would have started out by being apologetic for a 2 hour wait where supposedly two people were in front of us. Obviously there were more than one person who came in after us who were seen before us. This place has zero organizational skills. It just leaves you feeling cold about the whole experience.

Extremely rude doctor, tried to sell me things, doesnt come to see you sends in physician assistants not doctors to work on you. I had lump in my stomace refused to remove it, had to have another doctor remove it. She is a very unpleasant woman who hates her patients. Also she and her husband tried to rip off George Harrison while he was dying, do you really want a doctor like this, please stay away from this doctor. check these links out from CNN see who you are deal with.

OK made an apt. Had to wait one month, OK fine. Waited one hour in waiting room. Girl at desk was more worried about lunch than her job. People that were getting botox were taken ahead of me. While walking to room i seen a woman selling fake purses and jewelry, so this place is a front? Then i wait 30 Min’s in the room for a RUDE, 2 minute visit by the Dr who wrote me a script and left! She cant even speak English!
