This place is horrible. Worst Hollister I’ve ever been in. Workers aren’t helpful, managers are rude. Everyone seems fake. I use to work there and I’m positive that I applied for a MODEL position and not a JANITOR position. They made me clean on my first day of work. «Scrub the toilets» «Dust the top of the fitting rooms.» «Dust the light fixtures.» SERIOUSLY? I could barely reach those places. And scrubbing the toilets down? There was some paper towels on the floor of the girl’s bathroom which was NOT there when I cleaned. A manager went in there after I did and yelled saying no one sweeped the floor. FYI, never EVER apply for a job here.

Too dark, couldn’t see in the store, and confusing to get out of the store. A half naked man at the the door with loud music! All of you are right! I do agree with these bad reviews. No wonder no one likes this store so much!
All they get. Looks like I’ll be seeing you then in the due course. Maybe. We may go here rarely. P. S. The perfume smell was nice.

A Hollister’s and Amercrombie(SoHo and South Street Seaport) were closed temporarily due to bedbugs. It is thought that the bugs were brought in on returned merchandise.

Somebody gave me a jacket from here. It is okay and it was the thought that counted. Aside from that, I have nothing positive to say. When I got the jacket and took it out of the bag I immediately smelled cheap perfume. So my first thought was, «this shit is used.» It kind of smelled like somebody took it clubbing and sweated in it and subsequently took a shower in cologne. Or maybe a 50 dollar whore went hooking, and then slept on a floor in it. Needless to say, I brought it back. I picked another one off the floor; smelling it first and btw you have to be half fucking vampire in this place to see anything it is so dark. So I check out and do the exchange. The woman asked why I brought it back– I figured i’d keep it simple; «i didn’t like the color». Well while I was not looking they soaked my new jacket in Hollister company«Eau de Whore». I brought it home just now after driving 20 minutes and it smells worse than the first. It’s now in the washing machine. What a joke. They soak your clothes in shitty cologne– at no extra cost, lol. I will never go back to this dump. Also, all the American varsity, surfer style overpriced clothes are all made in 3rd world countries to exploit cheap labor where people have no rights. Exploitive trade practices to maximize profits on the backs of foreign workers + whore cologne =No thanks /never again. P. S. It still reeks of cologne after I washed and dried it.

This has to be the worst store in the whole entire Staten Island Mall. It’s completely dark and you cannot see anything. If your claustrophobic, you won’t like this place at all. You cannot walk around and the scent of any Hollister perfume or cologne is smelt throughout the whole store to the point it makes you completely nauseous. I’m not a heavyset girl, but I could never shop in a store for anorexic people. The prices are also unbelievably pricey. I could go on and on and on.

ICK! 10 reasons why I don’t like this store: 1) It is fashioned for the unrealistically skinny high school girls. NEWSFLASH«the entire population are not super thin.» 2) It is so dim inside you cannot see where you are walking. 3) The displays are very poorly put together. 4) Clothing is rarely folded. 5) It is messy inside 6) The general layout of the store is terrible: no room to walk anywhere 7) You can smell the cologne before you even approach it(I like cologne but not so it gives a person a headache.) 8) It is ridiculously expensive. 9) My friend used to work there, whenever I went in for a sporadic visit, NEVER, has a sales rep. asked me how I can be helped. 10) Prissy primadonnas and wanna-be thugs who think they are cool for wearing this clothing while sitting on the waiting chairs outside this apparel store.
