I made an appointment with this doctor’s office a month in advance for a 7 pm appointment. I walked in to the office to find about 30 other people also waiting. The rude receptionist advised that they were backed up by AN HOUR AND A HALF «if I wanted to wait». I told them to eff off. I suggest you do the same. Doctors should be held to the same standards as any other profession. Overbooking appointments like that shows a lack of respect for patients time!

After 3 years of being treated by him, I think Dr. Buchen is a surgeon at heart, but nevertheless, a very good doctor. His deep training and knowledge of all the western pharmaceutical options helped me manage a very serious chronic skin condition. While my search for the cure is not over, he has been one of the few traditional doctors who did not yell at me or made a big mistake with prescribing medicine. He treated me like a human being with respect and kindness. For that I am grateful.
He is a big skeptic when it comes to nutrition or alternative medicine, though, so if you’re looking for a wholistic approach, you won’t find it with him. However, if you are just looking to treat something with the best that modern medicine has to offer, yep, he’s a good choice.
