Da Noi

Great restaurant– although the location is off, the interior of the restaurant is very nice. The food was delicious and service was good as well. Ended the dinner with tiramisu which was very tasty. A bit pricey but good for a date night or special event.

Been traveling to Staten Island for the last 50 years (don’t ask). Although most restaurants on the island are a some version of neighborhood Italian this one stands out. The ambiance is white tablecloth and uniformed wait staff. They are very attentive and responsive.
The menu is more or less standard but each item was well prepared and the portions are generous. Main courses run around $ 20 including the veal dishes. All and all a very solid performance.

Friendly staff, good food, good Martini’s I recommend, Seafood is good and I think its their strong point, asked for some modifications to our dishes and they accommodated with a smile, what else can you ask for right? Easy access from Victory Blv. Exit on 440

Tried both Da Noi’s this one and fingerboard rd. Both are very nice and the food is real Italian and delicious.

First time & very satisfied ! Lovely greeting on phone when making reservation, as well as when we arrived. Food & service wonderful would definitely return. Appetizers: goat cheese w/​arugula, tomato, walnuts! Enter: Pasta was a special squid ink pasta w/​shrimp scallop calamari & mussels… delish! Ended the meal sharing zabaglione, Tartufo, tiramisu& cannoli with coffee & then it was time to roll home ! Thank you for a lovely meal!

We to Da Noi with my boyfriend last night because I had won a gift card in a raffle. I figured I would use it… The vibe was great, nice lighting and great low music. The food was way better than anticipated!!! Not to mention the service. They were outstanding. They even asked us if we were ready for our main course before they brought it out. Amazing place! I will be returning.

Just as the other location this place is great ! Very family friendly, also had a friend that has a kid with allergies, once we told our waiter that they did an excellent job on accommodating our needs ! Lots of restaurant should learn from them!

The Staten Island Advance periodically list the bests Italian Restaurants on the Island. I’ve been quite perplexed why Danoi has never been included in the list. Others that were I’ve dined at and any of them can’t compete at all with this place for the food, service and price… My go to place on Staten Island. I highly recommend !

I had a first Date in Da Noi. Service was amazing, food delicious. Place looks big, it was quite and the best part — candle light. Would definately go back there and will recomend it to friends.

From the the time you walk in the door you know it is going to be wonderful experience. Greeted as an old friend. Had THEE best peach martini. Our table had the calamari-​the best I have ever had and caprese salad presentation was beautiful. The bruschetta was perfect. Shrimp parmeggiano had an excellent sauce. I had the chicken San remo excellent. Tiramisu was a huge portion wonderful flavor. Crème brûlée I have had better but I suffered through. You can’t go wrong.

Have great lunch selection not over priced at all. Service is good nice food taste and looks fresh

We went for an early dinner on a Saturday. Started out quiet, but the dining room was packed by the time we departed, with people waiting to be seated. I’m not sure why people flock here with so, so many other options for traditional Italian dinner in Staten Island. The server had very little knowledge of wine. We were shocked at his lack of training in this. He was helpful and courteous, but he couldn’t even tell us about the house wines without checking in back. The menu was standard; it didn’t offer anything surprising or unique to lure patrons specifically to Da Noi. Sauce options were too few for my liking, even though the ones we ordered tasted fine. For the price, I would have preferred something more special than the usual. One standout, though, was the pana cotta for dessert. Very nice way to end an otherwise ‘okay’ meal.

I love the beef carpaccio with arugula. The sauces are beautiful and the service was wonderful. I cant wait to go back and visit the other locations too!
The wine list is great too! We had a yummy Joseph Phelps Cabernet.
… and those little donuts /​zeppetos (sp?)… addictive!

Extremely disappointing, this place is a robbery, and completely sucks!!!
My gf took me here a couple of years ago. The place is alil pricey, I ordered «Pink salmon» which was like $ 25. By Pink Salmon, that’s exactly what I wanted, a nice salmon dish. I by no means, intended to order a $ 25 bowl of macaroni, as I can buy macaroni for $ 1 a box at the grocery store, and cook 2 LBs of it myself at home!!!
So I order this «Pink Salmon» entre. for $ 25. The menu claims its just that, a salmon dish.
The food comes… and its a bowl of macaroni, with a couple chunks of a salmon steak cut and thrown into the macaroni.
This place should be ashamed of itself!!! The same exact half a salmon steak that was cut into bits and thrown into the pasta, was the same exact type of salmon steaks you can get at Costco 6 of them for $ 20.
So why was I told I was being served salmon, when really I got half a salmon steak cut into pieces, and thrown into a $ 1 bowl of macaroni, then we were charged $ 25 for this?
No effort put into this meal at all. And I could of easily, and lazily made the same thing, at my home, for a cost of $ 3.
The service was also awful. The waiter was rude, didn’t care at all about us. and when I showed him the menu and said «where on the menu, does it say this is a macaroni dish with alittle bit of salmon in it???» his reply was a shrug followed by «ohh well. tough luck».
I hope this place falls apart!!!

Came here for Valentine’s Day. They overbooked and I had to wait another 45 minutes for a table. It was so over crowded with people you couldn’t move. After being seated at the worst table ever I took a look at their now printed menus to see they doubled the price of every item! $ 13.95 for mozzarella and tomatoes? Its $ 7.95 on their websites menu! I refused to stay and saw other couples walk out as well. Shame on you Da Noi!

Very expensive. But the food and wine are very good. It’s a small but very nice atmosphere. Very good for a date or date night with your significant other. Also good for an adult get together. I’ve done both there and have never been disappointed.

If you want a nice Italian dinner, this is def a great option. Da Noi has a very cozy, and welcoming feel. The staff is very nice. On this night we were seated promptly. The place is dimly lit and very romantic.
We went over the specials and decided on, the meat tortellinis with pink sauce as an app. This is one of my favorite dishes here. They are cook al dente and the sauce is perfect.
For dinner we ordered the swordfish special which was grilled and came out perfectly cooked juicy and tender with potatoes and asparagus. I order veal saltimbocca which was delicious. The veal here is always tender and it had spinach which unfortunately I wasn’t so happy about. It kind of tasted like boxed spinach.
For dessert we ordered coffee. Overall the place is def a go to and has very good food. You should go check it out.

I’ve been eating at Da Noi since it opened. It’s a really delicious Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our favorite waiter is Victor. He is attentive and always remembers our favorite drinks/​food. For drinks, we like to order any delicious martini (especially peach). For entrees their black linguine with pesto sauce and seafood is delicious. Finally, for dessert we enjoy their mint chocolate chip martinis. I highly recommend Da Noi!

I came here to celebrate a close friends birthday and it was about 10 of us and we got a reservation for 8:30 we got to sit down promptly in a nice round table right in the middle. The place was packed and much older couples. They also have valet parking and if not theres a huge whole dead block to park on too.
We started off with a nice bottle of red wine and it was good, kind of strong but I liked it and can’t complain! We had some bread with like an olive spread on top and shredded parmesan cheese and it was pretty good, plus a side of oil and pepper too. The waiter was really nice and so was the hostess, they told us our dinner specials. I enjoyed me a nice seafood pasta, some clams, mussels, calamari, and scallops in a nice linguini sauce with a red sauce on top, I enjoyed that it was a big plate too! We also had mussels in red wine sauce which was nice, others got some chicken, shrimp parm, steak and it all looked really good!
I enjoyed this place and would not mind coming back, prices are not that bad they have a nice selection of foods and wines and I liked the workers there too. Food came out pretty quick and was nice and enjoyable, they even offer dessert and coffee.
Nice romantic atmosphere, dim lights, candle light and the wine is flowing!
