Cool Cycle Laundry

The staff is very nice & there is parking & a close convenience store but it’s small & I found it to be a bit pricey. If you service your laundry its $.85 a pound where in other places its $.65, the washing machines are $ 4.00 for the large ones & the dryers, not only do they not have enough but they are $.25 for 6 minutes. The place was clean but I didn’t find it effective for me price & space wise. Use at your own discretion.

I dropped off my laundry yesterday and the weight was 30ilbs. When I went to pick it up today it was 37lbs. They told me that some of the clothes were wet when dropped off and when dried it was heavier, shouldn’t it be just the opposite? then he said it wasn’t on the scale all the way the previous day, so an extra 7lbs. was hanging off the side and he didn’t know it? stupidity is not my fault, not going back again.

Not the best! Already they lost two belts for a sweater and a shirt I brought in to be dry cleaned. Also had two items cleaned again b/​c they left stains and hair on it. Will never go back again.

Great customer service and excellent prices for dry cleaning! I came in pretty late with my comforter and needed it done by closing time. I came back in an hour and it was finished ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this place.

When my home was flooded during hurricane Sandy one of the first things I decided to do was try and save my clothes. I came to Cool Cycle Laundry because it was open and had power, unlike most of the island. I had never been there before and knew nothing about it other than it’s open status.
I must have looked quite out of place, covered in mud dragging in 10 – 15 giant and HEAVY black trash bags full of soaking wet clothes. I was there for about 3 hours and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Not once did they complain that I was messy, leaving mud/​sticks/​grass on the ground, they came around and swept up after me with a smile.
I am so grateful for Cool Cycle Laundry. Thanks to them and their awesome laundry machines I was able to save 90% of my clothes. Moreover, they were kind and compassionate and didn’t make me feel guilty for bringing half the Atlantic Ocean in with me. My only regret is that my new place is nowhere near them so I can’t go there regularly.

Honestly, they have everything you should expect: great service, clean environment, there’s enough machines so you don’t have to wait… good music too! Myrna is lovely and greets everyone and makes it a warm environment. I love doing my laundry there. You will too.

Almost always really clean with machines that work well. Most of the staff is friendly and professional, eager to help if someone needs instructions or assistance. And the owner is lovely, too. Only one staff person is unpleasant– smokes a lot right outside the open front door, complains about her job and how much she has to do. I try not to go in whenever she is working, or hurry to finish if she comes in.
There is always enough room to fold, places to sit while you wait and parking close by. Definitely a step above all the other local laundromats.
Except for the trashy woman.
