My laptop had connection issues so it wouldn’t turn on. I called the shop on a Friday evening and asked for a quote. Unfortunately, the tech people don’t work on weekends, but I dropped my laptop off anyways. They fixed my laptop fairly quickly(Monday), but it still had the issue when I took it home. I had to drop it off again. I was a bit annoyed at first, but hey, everyone makes mistakes, and as long as my laptop gets fixed before my next assignment’s due date, I’ll be happy. Overall, it costed me a little over $ 80 — better than the $ 400 offered by Asus(I could buy a new one with that much money). The only down side was travel time. I live pretty far, so it takes me around an hour for a round trip. The employees were very friendly. Even though the guy told me he wouldn’t want to see me again(not in a bad way), I would go back if I run into more problems.

Good attitude, but did take a good while to fix an iPad screen. I wasn’t in a hurry so it was alright to wait. 130 $ for the repair felt a little expensive for me, but the result left me with nothing to complain about.

Their fast and very well priced. Brought my phone in last night because of a bad crack in the screen. They replaced both the screen and battery in about 14 hours, only because they were closed for 11 of those hours. In total it was only a couple dollars more for both replacements, about $ 100 less, than it would have cost at an Apple Store. This is a good business for phone repair. They’ve earn my repeat business.

This review could have went much worse. It could have been disastorous. Here is why it didn’t. About a month ago, my iphone 4s microphone broke. I couldn’t talk to anyone on the phone. Not a huge problem for me. I hate talking on the phone. But if an emergency comes up, how do I contact 911? So I started weighing my options. Through all of the web searching, I wondered upon PCQikFix. Their web site advertised the capabilities of fixing video game systems, pcs, ipads, ipods, and iphones. Add to that it was the only option I found within an hour of me. So I sent them an email asking for a quote on the phone and one for a broken ipod that is my daughter’s. They sent a reply rather quickly with detailed price lists and time frames. The prices were extremely reasonable compared to the places I would have to send it out to. I decided, for now, that I would get my phone fixed. I took my phone over and they analysed it and told me what the problem was. They would have to order parts and get back to me. No charge, so far. So, a week later I called and they told me their supplier sent them faulty parts. Call back in a week. I called back a week later and the parts were in. Wifey took the phone up in the morning. I picked it up that night and they told me that the new parts were faulty as well but they didn’t know it until it was in the phone. They would order new parts and make it right. I told him no problem. I paid at this point just because of the work involved. I am getting worried about what I got into with this, now. I understand ordering from OEM and salvage suppliers. But the prices, here, are pretty good. It made me wonder about these guys. I took my iphone home and it wouldn’t charge unless I turned the thing off completely. The microphone worked half and now the speaker didn’t work. So this phone is getting screwed, big time. Anyway, about a week later, I get the call. Parts are in. I took my phone in. Went in the next day. Phone was fixed. Works perfect. Here’s the explanation of what happened. These guys aren’t dealing with Apple certified parts because Apple doesn’t just sell the parts to anyone. At least not for reasonable prices. So, these guys have to find suppliers that deal in used or OEM parts. The guy at the counter told me they had a ton of trouble getting things right with the supplier and that they will no longer be using them. He told me it is very difficult finding second hand parts, like this, and was very apploegetic over the whole incident. I have dealt with supplier issues before so pretty much know where he is coming from. He told me he hopes to never see that phone again. I hope he doesn’t, either. But I will be back any time I need an ipod, PC, etc. fixed. They are very proffesional. They have great customer service. They are very knowledgable. At the end of the day, your stuff will be fixed and working. Even with my issues, I can’t really complain. They are the local alternative and their prices are very reasonable. So, check out their website and go there.
