This Chipotle’s not too bad. The food is typical(ly good) for this chain and the employees are generally nice. There is this one employee who always seems to have a really bad attitude but really only when she’s stuck wrapping burritos. Not my fault someone didn’t drain the beans and now the tortilla has soggy weak spots… but yea poor straining when doling out the beans and salsas usually lead to the broken burritos folks are complaining about. As for lines, they’re pretty typical for a Chipotle during lunch hours but I am impressed that they move pretty consistently. Some of the reviewers on here don’t seem to realize that they aren’t unique in their craving for a lunchtime burrito. If you don’t want to deal with the peak hour lines, don’t go during peak hours! Seating is good, especially the separate area in the corner with the windows. The only thing that really irritates me is that they only have a small bike post out front. They have a railing but locking to that impedes traffic flow. For such a popular spot in a bike-friendly town, it’s really sad that they don’t accommodate their customers a little better.

I have always been an avid fan of Chipotle. The food at this location is what you would expect from one of chipotle’s chain restaurant. However, this is not the place you would want to go if you are in a hurry. I have waited around fifteen to twenty minutes just for a single order. The only times they are not busy during the day is around 2pm-3pm. Also I would recommend getting the bowls, because the I got a poorly wrapped burrito. When you dig into your burrito, it just begins to disintegrate and fall apart in your hands. Overall, chipotle is a cheaper and«faster» alternative to the other restaurants around State College.

Run of the mill burrito fast food chain. None of their ingredients are particularly special. Every time I come here, the amount of chicken I receive is about half of what I get at Qdoba. I often have to order double meat, which makes it about the same price for a Qdoba burrito, if not a little more. I really don’t see what makes people like this place so much. 1.5÷5

Usually Chipotle is delicious but the one in state college is horrible. The ingredients are below average for this establishment. It’s sad they can’t even roll a proper burrito.

When you get a burrito bowl they fold the tortilla in half and then put it in… Who does that? That means you cant wrap it into a little burrito later because the tortilla is all soggy and gross. It may seem petty for me to only give them 2 stars but it completely threw off my burrito bowl.

My favorite place in the world to go for Tex-Mex food when I’m in a rush. You have a different selection of protein and veggies. You can eat a bowl or burritos and also quesadillas. My favorite is the bowl with chicken and meat, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole(1 dollar aditional), cheese, sour cream, and corn.

I love Chipotle, but lately this particular establishment has fallen far from the standard most restaurants in this chain hold themselves to. I believe management has told the staff to give very little servings of each ingredient. Today I received a burrito bowl that wasn’t very filling at all, and that was after I complained about the amount of chicken I was receiving. If I’m going to spend $ 7 on a burrito bowl, I’m going to expect the portion to keep me full at least a couple hours after I eat. If any members of management are reading this review I highly suggest you start allowing the employees to give reasonable servings if you want business to start picking up again. Maybe next time I’ll go next door to Primantis, spend a couple extra dollars, and actually receive my money’s worth.

I figured long lines would correlate with good food, but I was sadly mistaken. The burrito was filled with subpar food, and fell apart quickly. I would recommend the nearby American/Mex restaurants, like Qdoba, California Tortilla, or even Taco Bell.

Expected more like Baja Fresh at Dupont Circle in Washington. More cilantro and genuine different sort of salsa. Too much stuff in the tortilla. Subjective point of view after all.

The only I thing different with this chipotle from all others is that I believe they are instructed to give you less than most chipotles

Crowded location but I guess this is what you would want if you have a restaurant. Food wise… average chain/fast food Mexican style. It won’t blow your mind and it won’t offer you something unique or an authentic experience. But what do you expect with a place like this. The place is well kept.

This was a great Chipotle and very clean. I preordered on my iPhone and had burritos with names on them when i showed up. One of the best experiences i’ve had.

Back home in Cupertino, CA., Our chipotle put a lot more in the burritos than these guys do. Don’t get me wrong, they were super nice and chipotle is always to die for, but I did have to ask for extra rice. Otherwise the atmosphere seemed very clean and organized. Would go back for more. It’s chipotle. Who wouldn’t.

I came to this Chipotle while on a 5 ½ hour drive after leaving my grandmothers. I live in California and read some reviews on this Chipotle when I was looking for chipotles on my route. I noticed in the reviews that they are skimpy on the meat and corn and that the burrito is extremely small for Chipotle. They were right. My server was very friendly, and apologized after I told him there was a big hole in the tortilla and I was driving. But after then they gave me a small amount of meat, at the end of the batch there were just a few pieces of steak left and he left it there even though the amount he gave me was small. They gave me a decent amount of rice and lacked with the corn. I was surprised just how small the other reviewer meant when they said it was small. The burrito ended out being about the same amount as a 4 layer burrito at Taco Bell. Someone also commented that the mild or medium salsa was way hotter than it should be. I got the mild because I don’t like spicy food all of the time and it was more like medium. It usually takes me about 10 – 15 minutes to eat these burritos and I’m extremely full at the end. But when I ate this locations burrito I was done in literally five minutes. I noticed that the same song was on when I was done and it was 5:27 long. I was still hungry, and I’m a really skinny guy. I’m 6′ 1″ and only 150 so you can see I can’t eat much, but I was actually disappointed when I realized I was already done. 2 stars for the burrito compared to other locations, and 4 stars for the service,(only because I had to point out the hole). I work inside Disneyland at Ghirardelli(which is not Disney owned) but we sell sundaes from 9 – 35 dollars. Whenever I make a sundae I make sure they get their money’s worth because if you pay 9 dollars for a sundae and get 3 dollars worth how ripped off would you feel? I felt like I only received a 3 dollar burrito instead of the 7 dollars that I spent.

This location is soooo crowded; ALWAYS. There is always a line out the door and to top it off … its the ONLY location in State College. Honestly not the best tasting Chipotle I had. The meats are never well done and poorly season. I usually just order to pick up to avoid the masses that are always there.

Even when the line is out the door, I doubt I’ve waited for more than 8 mins, ever. The burritos are out of this world good, it’s a reasonable price and the service is quick.

This Chipotle is just as good as all the others. High quality, great service and(usually) clean. Had the steak bowl with toppings. I did ask for«a little» bit of beans and rice and ended up getting a lot. I wonder how much I would have received had I not asked for less. Other than the long lines sometimes, no complaints at all.

Overall, the food here was good. My only critique is the queue to order. There doesn’t seem to be a good place for the queue as it snakes through the dining room when busy. It’s kind of awkward waiting right next to people eating and vice versa.

I’m not a huge Burrito fan but the Burrito bowls are really yummy. I love the Baranca(?) beef.(Shredded beef) with rice, pinto beans, corn, lettuce, hot salsa, cheese & guacamole. I wish they didn’t charge for chips/salsa. There are always lines almost to the door but service here is really fast.
