Steak meat chopped way too small, was like confetti rather than cheesesteak, cheese whiz super light… but great great bread! Nice guy at counter, perfectly located downtown. Hotdogs not much to talk about sadly.

So I ordered a cheesesteak and about 3 hours later I was dying. While I was eating it I didn’t notice anything but afterwards I was super sick. I’ve never had food poisoning before so I was pretty scared … I was up all night and it was not pretty I could only keep down bread and water. BEWAREMAKESURETHEYWASHTHEIRHANDSANDCOOKMEATFULLY!

Probably the worst customer service of all restaurants in the area.

I got the mushroom cheese steak, it was very good but it’s a little pricey for the size. Either cut the price or beef up the size!

The atmosphere at Bradleys is inviting with a bar looking over a television for people who are having a quick solo lunch to lots of tables for people who come with friends. The staff is friendly and my food came quickly. Despite specializing in meat sandwiches and having steak in their name, all of their sandwiches can be made vegetarian using a veggie lean meat subsitute that tastes great! Instead of providing vegetarians the disappointing option of french fries, Bradley’s has a large, substantiating menu for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, all while making great tasting food! I wish more places in State College would follow suit!

Bradley’s gave me some of the worst service I have ever had. My roommate and I ordered food online and it took 2 hours to deliver a cheesesteak, cheesy onion rings and 3 drinks. When we got the food the onion rings were soggy with cheese sauce and cold. The cheesesteak was mediocre, cold and hardly had any cheese on it. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We would have liked to try Bradley’s, but we couldn’t because a strawberry hair lady told us she had made the decision to close the restaurant even though there were many people that wanted to purchase food on a penn state football weekend(Friday 9⁄25 into Saturday 9⁄26). The time was 2:15 a.m. and the store hours sign said they were open until 3 a.m. The strawberry hair lady’s friend with brunette coworker also had no concern about a number of customer’s desire to try Bradley’s subs.

Bradley’s has THE best BBQ chicken cheesesteak I’ve ever had! My fiancé loves their Italian hoagies! Always consistent and a must when visiting State College!

I can say, eh! Granted, I lived outside Philly for a year and the cheesesteaks are ten times better. Lots of friends loved Bradley’s so I tried it but was not impressed by how fatty the cheesesteak was. Ordered with onions and cheese wiz. Not bad, but not great. Would probably try it again!

Honestly you’re better off just getting a cheesesteak from one of the dining commons on campus.

I’m from Philly, so in comparison to the standard of Philly cheesesteaks, this does an alright job. The roll is fresh, steak is decent. Service was okay but that wasn’t what I was there for in the long run.

We randomly found this place after the UCF vs Penn st football game and we were starving and it just sounded delicious to have a cheese-steak! We came in and ordered a cheese steak and a chicken and cheese with some fries. We waited a few minutes and then got our food and devoured it so fast because it was truly delicious but I have a feeling our alcohol consumption helped the seasoning on these. The place was kind of dirty but I think its what happens when you have so many drunk people eating there. Overall it was pretty good.

My experience may have been exceptional because I went in during the summer. However the employees gave us as little attention as possible, as they were more interested in the video game they were playing. There was no music playing just the sound of a first person shooter. The food was only average cheese steak fare, the fries were awesome awesome awesome fresh cut, perfectly salted but just not good enough to make me happy about paying 11.00 for a cheese steak lunch.

Throughout my 2 years at Penn State, I never actually ate Bradley’s until it was my last month there. From what I’ve been told, Bradley’s is the only place in State College where you should order a Philly Cheesesteak from. Sure, it’s not Pat’s or Geno’s, but you also don’t have to make a 3.5 hour drive to get there. Bradley’s is located right on Pugh St, between College and Beaver. It’s pretty decently sized for what it serves up, with plenty of seating inside. For entertainment, they even have a TV against the wall playing random Netflix shows while you eat your meal. Both times that I’ve eaten here, I’ve gone with the original cheesesteak. As a frame of reference, I had Pat’s before, so I’ve had a real Philly Cheesesteak before. At Bradley’s they serve up a mean bang for your buck. For around $ 6, you get a pretty large cheesesteak, which can be easily divided into two meals(unless you’re incredibly drunk). For you FourSquare-ers, if you check-in here, you can get yourself a free soda. Service here was pretty quick. Within a matter of 5 minutes, my cheesesteak was whipped up and ready to go. The cheesesteak came out served on an Amoroso’s roll. So far so good. The steak itself was nicely chopped up and easy to eat. None of that long strip stuff that you’d have trouble eating. The cheese was nicely mixed in with the meat, but it wasn’t cheese wizz. Instead, they use American cheese. Kind of a bummer, but beggars can’t be choosers. Overall, I thought it was a pretty solid cheesesteak, but perhaps a little on the greasy side. Then again, I’m eating a cheesesteak, so it’s lathered with grease. Bradley’s is a solid choice if you’re hungry. For under $ 10, you can get a huge cheesesteak and a drink. This place is open late, delivers, and has a friendly staff. If only they’d use cheese wizz instead, and perhaps, cut down a little on the grease. Best cheesesteak in State College. What does that mean in the grand scheme of things? Probably not too much.

Bradley’s chicken cheesesteaks are out of this world. I usually order them with fried onions and hot peppers and I know their buffalo chicken cheesesteak is very popular amongst my friends. I went to PSU for my undergrad degree and am from the Philadelphia area. You won’t find a better steak in state college, or anywhere outside of Philadelphia for that matter.

I came here wanting a cheesesteak, but after looking over the menu I decided to go with a grilled cheese sandwich w/bacon and a small side of cajun fries. It’s not that I didn’t have much confidence in their cheesesteaks, I just really wanted a grilled cheese. I’ll save the cheesesteak for another day. Anyway, my sandwich, small basket of fries(which were really enough for 2 people to share) and fountain soda came up to about $ 8 total after tax. I thought that was a little pricey but still a pretty reasonable lunch tab for a state college venue. I found it odd that they don’t offer any kind of combo with sandwiches/fries, instead requiring you to order these items individually… but meh. My food was ready about 5 minutes after ordering, and it was hot and fresh. The grilled cheese was of average size served on thick & crispy(sourdough?) bread and oozing with white american cheese. The bacon was thick and flavorful, and complimented the sharpness of the cheese very nicely. The fries were obviously freshly cut and prepared to order, and were served hot and crispy. I opted for the cajun seasoning on my fries, which gave them a nice kick. All told, I was really happy with my visit and am looking forward to trying some of their more mainstream items on the menu.

Pretty good, slightly-higher-than-average prices. Definitely could’ve used more cheese in the cheesesteak though.

First off, very fast delivery, polite driver and the food was still hot when it arrived. We ordered two cheesesteaks and an order of the old bay seasoned fries. As a former resident of Philadelphia, I would say the cheesesteaks were good, the best I’ve had in State College for sure. The meat quality was good, and it was not too greasy. They had quite a few customization options, but we went traditional. I was expecting the fries to be seasoned a bit more like Chickie’s and Pete’s, but they were still really good. You could tell they were fresh and made from scratch. They also were not nearly as greasy as other places(see Five Guys). Overall the best traditional cheesesteak we’ve had in State College, probably the best we’ve had in PA outside of Philly. With the quick delivery time and high quality ingredients I’d definitely recommend Bradleys.

I don’t think this place is great at all. The food is plain and it’s expensive. I’ve had better philly cheese steaks…
