Appalachian Movers

My wife and I just purchased a house and needed to move our big furniture from our apartment. Appalachian did a great job. We ended up getting the 3-​man crew and it took them 2.5 hours to finished the job completely. They were very friendly, worked quickly and carefully, and we had absolutely no issues. I fully recommend Appalachian Movers in State College.

Appalachian Movers took extra care and time to ensure our furniture arrived without any damage. They were very flexible, working around the holidays and our own hectic schedules.
Tom answered every time we called leading up to the move. He gave us his cell # to ensure we were on track with arrangements, and recommended several methods to save money, even when it meant purchasing moving supplies from a different company and boxing things up ourselves. His crew was courteous and effective, taking extra measures to avoid tracking dirt anywhere, or even leaving a clue they had been in the house.
I hope I don’t have to, but if we move again, it will DEFINITELY be with Appalachian Movers!

Having spent 19 years in the moving business it was a challenge for me to select the right mover because I know the industry all too well.

I ended up requiring two moves… One into storage and a move out 6 weeks later. Tom and his crew were very professional. They showed respect and handled my furniture as if it were their own.
