Justice has been served… This abomination of a Sizzler is gone with the wind. Sadly though, 80% of this plaza and the adjoining plaza are out of business. Bums and fidgety meth head types are hanging around as is increase in graffiti.

Passed by here the other day, this sizzler no longer exists. Been to this location twice, both times it was pretty empty and the salad bar, hot food bar, and dessert bar weren’t fully stocked. i’m not surprised it went under.

It takes alot for the hubby to get me to eat at Sizzler, so after joining the club to get a discount for the UYE night out… the coupon didn’t come until a few days later. So with coupon in hand, I gave in and told the hubs we can go… once there… we were told that they wouldn’t take the coupon! Sizzler, you suck and so does your jet black 20 something wanna be punk behind the counter. I always knew you sucked! Tonight, you proved it again. Least I wont have to suffer the hubby asking to go back, he was so pissed — we walked out.

Best Christmas lunch ever! Bless the heart of the Korean owner who had no qualms screwing over his employees by forcing them to work on Christmas Day. It allowed non-traditional people like me enjoy a hearty Christmas lunch of cheese toast, nachos, and clam chowder soup. I grew up eating at this particular location, so I might be biased… but I swear — the meats here are of a higher grade than other Sizzlers, the all-you-can eat station has fun extras like carnitas, beef stew, and corn nuggets, and they just KNOW how to cook a mean cheese toast! No soggy slices here, just crisp and buttery goodness! I’d normally give a BOO to the waiter who didn’t make any reaction to our $ 10 tip on a $ 30 tab, but then again… he was working on Christmas Day so I’ll cut him some slack for looking so depressed.

i can’t believe i’m reviewing sizzler… giving it a decent review no less! i happen to be a person who likes really good food… but also likes food that’s so bad it’s good to me… like cafeteria food, airplane food, denny’s and yes, sizzler. my parents really loved sizzler when i was little and it’s carried through until now — we stopped going for a long time but have returned & i actually think it’s pretty ok. you walk in & look at the menu… mostly steaks but they have shrimp(scampi or fried), chicken, pasta, ribs, etc. lately, these steaks have tasted pretty good to me… we recently went to outback & sizzler and hands down, i’ll take a sizzler steak! haha lots of people go for the salad bar… now, it’s not the best salad bar out there but it’s decent. has all the standard veggies… i always get the diced ham pieces. they have 3 soups — chicken noodle, veggie beef & clam chowder… the veggie & chowder are the most edible. also with the salad bar, there’s hot items such as rice pilaf, cheese enchiladas, build-a-taco station, carnitas, spaghetti, jalapeño poppers — all of these are in the 1 – 2 star range. usually too much grease or something of that nature. however, the one hot food you should definitely get is the chicken wings! sounds crazy, but i love them here & will load my plate up! they are really crunchy on the outside & have a peppery kick to them. i can make a very filling meal on salad, soup, fruit and chicken wings here. bottom line… if i don’t want to drive far & i don’t want fancy, but a decent meal, there’s a good chance you’ll see me at sizzler. me with the senior citizens. =)
