Horrible service, asked for lime and salsa but the girl at the drive through window just gave me a dirty look and forgot to give it to me! Do not go here! The prices has been increased since last time!

I ordered a carne asada taco, fish burrito, and a carne asada fries. drive-thru. I asked for peppers and the cashier at the window told me that I can go inside to get it. wtf? When it was still called Alertos the customer service was just as bad, but at least the food didn’t taste this terrible. «New name. Same owner. Same great taste.» Don’t let that banner fool you. I’m never coming back. Peace-ing out.

I continue to find myself coming here. For the service, food, and the price! Breakfast lunch or dinner all of its excellent. Give them a shot they won’t disappoint! My favorite thing the carnitas and El Pastor mini tacos.

The shredded beef taco, carnitas taco, and churros are really filling and good. The portions are big.

No frills Mexican food. Service was nice, food came out quickly and was decent. The al pastor had great flavor, not a huge fan of their taco shells, I prefer the burritos here, also a much better value. Cheap, greasy and filling, though there are better options for Mexican food in the area.

We live in HB and visit Disneyland a lot since we have annual passes. We stop here on the way home. We used to love it and the carne asada super fries and chips would complete our trip to the happiest place on earth. But these days it’s been kinda a let down. Sometimes they forget the jalapeños and carrots so we have to ask again. This last trip. My bag of carrots only had 4 pieces in it, wtf? They forgot the rice in my wife’s Beans Rice and Cheese burrito even though we were charged for it and they forgot the drink(Capri Sun) with the kids meal. Such a bummer to end a great day like that. Don’t know when we’ll be back but it probably won’t be soon

Dropped by after working out and was happy to see this place was open late. We decided to get an order of taquitos and a carne asada burrito. The burrito was alright but nothing spectacular about it. I felt it was on par with other surrounding fast food places such as Albertos. I’ve had better tasting taquitos. The guacamole was bland and the shredded beef didn’t have too much flavor either. I think I’ll drive out to LA next time I’m craving some late night Mexican eats!

Came here with some friends after a good day at the shooting range. To sum this place up, I’d say it’s pretty average for a Mexican restaurant. Sure it’s much cleaner than your average Alberto’s taco joint and the customer service is pretty solid, but overall the food I ordered was nothing different or go nuts about. As far as food goes, I ordered the carne Asada wet burrito and large horchata, while my friends ordered tacos and adobada fries(aren’t on the menu so ask!). Pricing on the carne Asada burrito was priced the same as every other taco joint, at ~$ 5.59(minus the extra charge to make it wet) and the large horchata was ~$ 2.29. If you’re looking for an average Mexican restaurant to satisfy your late night cravings with average food and average prices, look no further!

Not the same at all. I remember when they were beginning to convert the Alertos into a Sabrosada, they had a sign that says«same taste». Bold face lie. I see why that sign is gone now. I mean, shoot, you might fool other people but not me. The adobada changed. It’s not good at all. The meat itself is different as well as the marinade. The sour cream changed. It’s thinner. The cheese changed and they are skimpy with it. I’m sure they are bulking the guac with something cause it’s thinner as well. Goodbye Alertos.

Ever since they changed their name, they have really stepped it up a notch. Our go-to menu item is definitely the Carne Asada Nachos. They have these crunchy potato tacos which are super cheap and pretty tasty. Ask for the avocado salsa, it’s bomb!

Less than mediocre. Never thought I’d meet a place that does Carne Asada wrong… but I did. Met up with my fiancé for lunch and couldn’t decide on where to go so found this place near by. It was nice a big and had a pretty nice size line so I figured it had to be good but I was wrong. Carne Asada was super thin and tasted like jerky. If I’m not mistaken, it was prob cooked earlier and warmed up on the grill. Could have even been microwaved, who knows. Maybe I’ll try something else next time but then again, maybe not.

I went here with my sister. We each ordered a taco, the lady taking our order didn’t catch that at the drive thru. That’s totally fine. When I informed her. She told us we didn’t need a second taco. Free insult with messed up ordered.

Sabrosada is a Mexican restaurant thats located on Beach and Lampson in Stanton. I Just happened to be around the corner getting an oil change and thought, «Tacos sounds good!» so I went. Ok so I just broke one of my own rules being a Unilocaler… Not looking up any of their reviews! YOUWOULDTHINK that the giant banner above the entrance reading, «Same owner, different name» would have thrown up a big red flag… But NOoooo I had to just ignore it and walk right in. I decided to order the mini tacos plate. You know the little authentic ones you get when you’re south of the border? Yea those. I ordered one asada, one carnitas and two al pastor. The moment I took the first bite I knew It wasn’t what I was expecting. The little tortillas they came on we’re actually quite good. The main problem was with the meat. Not good at all. The type of meat that tasted like it was sitting in a bin then re-heated on the griddle. Oof. I’ve come to realize that the worst time to eat is when you’re starving cause you still end up eating the food against your better judgment! If it’s Mexican food you crave do yourself a favor and find a different place to eat.

I stopped into this place, before my visit to SAMs Club in the same parking lot. I got the chilaquiles with red sauce, and they were really good. Not too spicy, and it was served with rice, some really tasty retried beans, and a small crisp salad. At only $ 6 and change I felt that I really got my money’s worth. I will definitely be back to try their taco selections.

Carne Asada Fries! Seriously, anything including the words Carne Asada and you won’t go wrong. Get the half order or you will be picking yourself off the ground. The portions are huge! Inside seems to be a little run down and could use a good clean job. Drive through runs a little slow most of the time.

Late night mexican food joint. It changed the name, but the staff, the menu and the prices are the same, so it doesn’t matter to me. I live down the street, so I habitually go when I shouldn’t go, because it’s so good but so bad for me. I can’t stop. I have to run around it or avoid the intersection when I go running cuz I know I’ll just stop by for a «quick bite» that will end up with me full of regret and penning in at least 5 more miles for the next day instead.

Now that I live down the street, I visit this place more often! It used to be Alerto’s and then they changed their name to Sabrosada with a large banner saying«new name, same owner.» I’m not so sure about that? But, this place does have its days(even when it was Alerto’s). On some days, my burrito is slender and the fillings are not even(beans all on one end, meat and fries in my California burrito all saturated in the other end). BUT! On their good days, I’m satisfied! Their portions are generous; if a half order of my fries is a whole square container, I wonder how much a full order is. I know there’s one woman working who isn’t the greatest with customer service I don’t mind. I’m always nice to whoever is at the window and they’ll be nice back when I request for more hot sauce. Trust me, I love my hot sauce with my food. They’re open 24 hours, take debit card with transactions over $ 5AND their prices aren’t skyrocketed.

I love to go here when I want a good carne asada burrito. I switch off between here and chipotle. Depending on my craving but they have totally different flavors. I also have them include rice in my burrito. They also make my favorite salsa of all time. They call it the cucumber salsa. It’s hot spicy at all but tastes so delicious ! I drown it in everything. I also enjoy their horchata. I’ve tried quite a few from different places but theirs is the best that I’ve tried. They lose a star because they have a minimum requirement for card purchases. Before it was cash only but now it’s a minimum purchase to use a card. And I purchase my order and sat down and waited and realized I wanted horchata but didn’t have cash. They wouldn’t let me buy it even though my first order was already $ 10. The minimum is $ 5 I believe. It was silly. And annoying.

I read a lot of bad reviews but decided to try it nonetheless. I was impressed. The food tasted hot greasy and delicious. Just like I expected from a americanized taqueria. Got the abogado torta, 3 tacos, and the chicken quesadillas. They are dirty, hearty, and downright delicious.
