Dana charged me $ 40 on the first visit to tell me I had a leak. Thanks, Sherlock, but that’s why I called you in the first place! He said I needed a leak detection to find out the cause. I asked how much that was and he said it was $ 125. Alright, not bad. Let’s do it.
Fast forward to the second visit and he finds where the leak is by opening a wall. I told him about another leak that made the ceiling peel back a bit. He opens it up and takes a look. When the leak detection was done he charged me $ 250?! I asked why and he said it was $ 125 before he had to open up the second hole. Thanks for letting me know that before you cut another hole in my house.
So I asked how much it was to fix everything and he said several grand to reroute the plumbing, but he wouldn’t really know until he started working. Fair enough, but judging from the poor communication from before I’d rather not.
Lesson of the day: Don’t pay someone $ just to tell you something you already know.
Poor estimates. Poor communication. Poor service.

I contact Dana to fix a tub leak. He came out and said there no leak when clearly there is a leak in the dry wall. Charge $ 45 do just look at the dry wall and say its not a leak. Call him back to see if he can fix the leak and maybe credit me the $ 45 towards the repairs. He said he cant and just hung up on me. I see all the positive review but I don’t think he had a right to hang up on a client that was going to give him the job.

This review is long overdue. We called Dana when the fireplace at the house we bought needs to get fixed. He fixed the problem and was honest about the situation. The amount he charged us was less than what he quoted. I definitely recommend Dana.

Dude got the job done and didn’t beat around bush!

Dana has been on point with the the plumbing on the two bathroom remodels/​re-​fitting that have been done thus far in my home.
He is clean, meticulous and respectful of your home space while working. He’ll answer any questions with plumbing that you may have to stave off potential problems in the future.
Have yet to utiilze his services for Heating or Air — but I“m sure he is as thorough and professional at this as his knowledgable plumbing services.

I cannot say enough about this plumber. We had a leak in our master bath shower. I called a plumber I had used previously and he quoted over $ 800, even though we already had most of the parts. My husband decided to try to fix it himself. Three days later, Dana from Help Plumbing was at my door. He fixed everything in a couple of hours and for an amazing price. Very reliable and honest. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Great service for a low price. I needed a new furnace and I shopped around ALOT amongst 5 different 5 star rated furnace guys on Unilocal.Out of all of them he was the cheapest. I thought to myself, you pay less, get worse quality right? WRONG. Dana did an amazing job even though he beat the next closest guy by $ 400.
How does he do it for such low prices? He’s had tons of experience and he runs his own business, so it’s alot cheaper that way. In my opinion, I also felt the most comfortable with him in terms of being trustworthy and intelligent.
Most importantly, Dana was extremely accommodating to my many nit picky requests. I can be a bit particular when it comes to how things are done in my house, and Dana was always willing to accomodate me without nickel and diming my requests.
An honest plumber and highly recommended! Seriously, don’t bother shopping around because you’ll come to the same conclusion I came to, that he is the lowest price and you’re still getting the good quailty.

Dana did an excellent job. I am very happy with his service and would recommend him to anybody that needs plumbing work. His installation work was professional and he was very friendly.
Dana did a lot of work for me: he replaced my pipes for my laundry, replaced my bath and shower faucets, bathroom sink faucet and kitchen sink faucet. He did the work in about a day in a half and was for the amount of work and quality it was a very good deal.
