Country Club Donuts

Can’t believe I never reviewed this place! My all time favorite donut shop! There are so many donut shops around. so it makes it even more special to find one that stands out. I think it’s a combination of great owners combined with the tender loving care they put into their products.
This store has been around for years and the owners are such sweet and friendly people. The husband make THE world’s yummiest banana nut muffin and blueberry muffins! I don’t have the biggest sweet tooth, so for me to actually crave a pastry… it really says a lot. The muffins are big, super moist, and flavorful. I tried making it at home using several different highly rated recipes… but trust me. it just doesn’t come out like these. The wife runs the shop during the day and she’s such a sweet lady and always so helpful!
I hate how some other places… especially big chain bakeries, overload their baked goods with so much added sugar. This place makes their pastries and donuts with the perfect amount of sweetness IMO.
My favorite donut has always been the good old plain sugar twist and theirs is always so light and airy… kinda makes me not even feel guilty about eating it! Their crossiants are huge and somehow doesn’t feel overly buttery or greasy like some other places. The regular plain one is my fav, but the ham and cheese one is also really good for a savory sandwich. These are huge, so one will fill you right up. They came out with a new blueberry cake donut recently and it’s perfectly sweet, soft, moist, and full of blueberries!
Definitely give this place a try! Everything is made fresh every morning and tastes delicious!
Fyi.this place closes around 2pm daily, so definitely come in the morning when everything is super fresh and abundant.

O M G best maple bar I’ve had in months. The donut was huge, fluffy, and super tasty. The owner was exceptionally sweet also, very welcoming.

You know it’s funny. I was waiting for one of the store shop to open around the corner and this place just showed up. I love it. It’s convenient.
I love the sense of elderly group that comes in to grab their morning coffee. Theyre slow but yet you appreciate the slower pace in life.
And the store owner is super friendly!

Yeah, the other review pretty much said it all. Okay. I actually liked these donuts better than Donut King and Water. The maple frosting was more mapley, and the glazed were better too. Granted it’s just maple frosting from a bucket, but hey – whatever.
