Great food, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. A great option for anyone looking to go out to dinner without being disappointed by many of Greenwich and Stamford’s obnoxiously priced places with overly complicated bad menus.

Whether you’re grabbing a beer after a round of golf, or just stopping in for dinner, you won’t be disappointed. Good menu, good prices, good service. They have a large room available for events as well.

The good: Very attentive and friendly waitresses, nice view, nice inside/​outside options. The bad: political-​extremist TV (Fox News) playing on the bar when we just wanted to relax. (Why do we have to see/​hear science-​hating lackeys and bimbo blonde women reading lines off RNC brochures? Don’t try to give equal time to left-​leaning pundits like MSNBC either, by the way – that would be missing the point) A bar is for relaxing, and not for the management to force customers to hear from political spew. If you’re a clubhouse, put sports on the TV already!

I went there for lunch a few times. The food is mediocre. The service can be good or slow. However, most of the waitresses act like they’re doing you a favor by serving you. I know they are busy but most of them are short with you and have a scowl on their faces. Only the woman manager and a male waiter were friendly while serving us lunch. I’d go more often because the food is OK but I often feel so unwelcome.

This is a happy place attended dutiful my the host. Nice views overlooking the golf course give this place an edge along with steak and twin lobster specials for around $ 22. Much more than just pizza. Also nice Sports bar with big screen TV’s.

I just got home from Zody’s. We really went because AJ the DJ was playing there and we love to dance! Unfortunately I don’t have much to say about the service. We sat down at a table and ordered drinks but then our waitress never came to ask us if we wanted anything to eat! We sat there the whole time and they didn’t even come by to ask if we wanted another round! I was very disappointed! AJ the DJ was great though!

This is our favorite restaurant in Stamford. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, the bartenders are personable and friendly, and the owner is amazing. He takes the time to meet everyone and make them feel at home. I have held alumni events on the patio and everyone has enjoyed themselves, many stating they would come back for dinner. We go to Zody’s for the Superbowl party every year as well as New Year’s. Zody’s also caters. I have had opportunities to have my broker open houses catered, and visitors raved about the food.

I went to Zody’s for the first time last night for «date night». With no expectations I gave it a 3. They have something for everyone, both on their menu and their seating options. You can seat yourself in the dining room (flowers and candles on the table HUGE stone fireplace) or the bar (mahogany, small high top tables and music) or on the covered heated patio (loud, cozy, kid friendly). On such a warm evening, their was a wait at the door, very few staff and no one telling us what to do. We battled our way to an empty table on the patio (before we knew it was kid friendly). After waiting 15 minutes for drinks, with a screaming baseball team sitting next to us I almost left. Luckily I was convinced to stick it out. I know this is long, but it gets better…
So our food arrived, the kids parents who were sitting at the opposite end of the patio well away from their own children! told them to be quiet and stop throwing food. It was quiet, our food was fantastic our waitress apologized over and over and over again.
Not the best first impression, but I am going to give it another try. I would recommend this to anyone with kids. They have pizza, sandwiches or classic entrees. The price is great. and I think, without an entire baseball team sitting next to you the atmosphere would be good too.
