Super affordable. I mainly go for the ice cream — which is on the soft side. I should clarify — I am not talking about soft serve ice cream from a machine. Just the good olé scooped ice cream. I enjoy it. The standards are there. People I have gone with enjoy it as well but do worry the ice cream may melt a bit faster. I have not done coffee there but I have grabbed a scone or two and had no complaints. Service has always been super friendly. Good amount of seating indoors and out — close enough to the train station if you need to make a morning coffee run. The prices will keep me going back. That. and they have ice cream cake.

I’m wondering if I should give this place 2 or 3 stars. Alas, I give them 3 because they hover on the edge of perfection and more often than not, they tumble off that fence into mediocrity. If you want to try somewhere«new» or «different», then don’t go here. But if you want a break from the same old, and happen to be in this area, it’s a good option. A little overpriced and the staff tend to be a bit clumsy with how they craft their drinks or handle food. I’ve been here about 3 or 4 times, and each time the drinks have come out differently. The sweets are good, if not pricey themselves. The space is OK. Overall, a pretty darn average experience.

I guess the best thing about Little Monkey is that they’re reasonably priced, open late, serve almond milk and if you get the right person, at the right day at the right time their coffee, lattes and cappuccino’s can be delicious. Unfortunately the quality is inconsistent. I’ve had amazing coffee/espresso drinks here and have had bitter, tasteless drinks here as well. The cinnamon coffee crumb cake here used to be a weakness of mine but the last time I went the cake was stale, hard and a complete disappointment. All in it’s an OK place if you’re tired of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks.

I grabbed an iced coffee there on a hot day and I was pleasantly surprised. It was awesome– and I’m a bit of a coffee snob. I went back a couple weeks later for some ice cream and learned that they had soft serve(rejoice!). Soft serve is my weakness, and they did not disappoint. Nice conversations with the people working as well.

Hidden gem! The ice cream is absolutely delicious, they have place to sit out in the sun and enjoy your dessert which is lovely.

This place is awesome! I stumbled upon it walking one evening and gave it a try. The cake batter ice cream is delicious and inexpensive, especially compared to all the other frozen yogurt/ice cream places in Stamford. You must give this hidden gem a try!

A 16 oz fruit smoothie was just over $ 6 with tax. There were larger chunks of fruit hidden throughout my smoothie, which were not very nice to drink. The fruit was fresh, but not worth the money. I would not go back again.

New ice cream shop in glenbrook. Milkshake was average, soft ice cream was too. They also have other ice cream, but I expected a larger selection for the size of the place. Lots of eating space inside and out. Also near the baseball field… great place to take kids after a game.
