We just moved here from out of state and stumbled upon Tabouli Grill. Will definitely become a regular spot for us. Hummus alone was worth it. Excellent, friendly staff and delicious food

One of my favorite places! The most delicious hummus I have had. Love their soups too.

My friend and I ate here tonight and had great service(Bonnie) and delicious food. It was a hard decision on what to order since it all sounded good, but we split the spanokopita and grape leaves apps(the spanokopita was super fresh and tasty, but the grape leaves had a tomato base inside which was unexpected and not our favorite), plus ordered the falafal/fried eggplant pita and the chicken greek salad pita. They were very yummy and good sized portions — we ended up taking leftovers home. The atmosphere was decent and prices were reasonable. Overall, I definitely plan to go back!

This used to be one of my favorite places for a while in Stamford. Great food, service and consistency. All of those virtues have been forgotten. Recently, my 7 month pregnant wife and o visited for late lunch. They took 15 minutes to get us a table in a completely empty restaurant. They could see she was uncomfortable standing Then food. In the last two times I have gotten dried out chicken in my shawarma and in shawafel burnt and re fried falafel. My wife’s salad was excellent and surprisingly her grilled chicken was very flavorful and moist incomplete contrast to mine So all in all, mediocre to terrible is how I would rate the place for now

Have been back a couple times, am a fan now. Reluctantly went for dinner to humor my spouse. Surprise, we were bombarded with deliciousness! Had hummus plus trio of other dips with pita(baba g, tabouli, & tzatziki) all very difficult to stop eating; the purple cabbage pickle is very tasty, can I buy that in bulk? Love that pitas can be ordered«deconstructed», especially if you want to keep your freshly made felafel nice and crunchy. Beware of the orange squeeze bottle sauce, it’s good but if you’ve really sensitive taste buds, it’s spicyyyy! The green squeeze bottle sauce is also excellent, particularly on the lamb kabobs. Just scrumptious all around. Took home ample leftovers, they make a great breakfast the next day.

Disappointed. Being of mediterranean background I expected more. Way too over priced for the amount and quality of the food here. Not sure what happened with management or change of chef, etc, but when it first opened, it was actually very good. Then as the years went by, it quickly got Really Bad. I have been here/ordered here 3 times(so this review isn’t just after just one taste) and tried a variety of dishes, and can honestly say that… I have had better, much better. This place has nothing on Layla’s falafel on main st. I have given this place many chances, but it just keeps letting me down. My own opinion, just hoped for more authenticity.

Really excellent. This place made the best falafel I’ve ever had. It was totally crispy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside. I loved the lamb kebab and the brown rice and lentil. It had crispy onion on top and was delicious. The Israeli salad was tasty too. And I tried the Turkish wine. Why not? I took my time and really enjoyed it. Since I’ll be spending a little time in Stamford over the next few months, I’ll definitely be back.

I would love to give this restaurant 5 stars! The food is absolutely delicious and atmosphere is nice, however their delivery service could not be worse. You must order online and are forced to tip the driver 15%, even if you’d like to tip in person. I will continue to go in person but will never order out from them again.

I get a lot of takeout from here and it is awesome. Try the tabouli, hummus, and Israeli salad, personal faves. Love this place — make them check for utensils if you need them, but good food, service, attitudes. I feel obligated to tip for takeout — it’s that awesome.

The vegetarian chopped liver was insanely delicious. It tasted like the real deal. The quinoa salad with kohlrabi, Brussels sprouts, carrots, almonds, and many more delicious veggies was filling and well balanced. Tabouli Grill makes this vegetarian girl very happy.

If you want to taste some original Mediterranean food… Look no further as Tabouli is DELICIOUS! I would consider myself a «regular» there and it never gets boring. Every dish is packed with flavor thats just an amazing combination. Awesome pitas!

Fantastic food and super fast service. I got the hummus with lamb schwarma for my appetizer and it was delicious. Warm, fresh whole wheat pita and some nice spices in the hummus. I got the salmon special dinner with rice pilaf, tomatos and feta cheese and it was to die for. It came out about 8 minutes after I finished my appetizer, and 15 minutes after I placed my order. About 10 beers are available in cans and bottles, which they pour for you into a glass. Decent selection, and good wine’s are available too.

One of my favorite restaurants in the City!!! Food is always SOGOOD!!! I’m a vegetarian, so I can’t speak to the meat dishes but my friends haven’t been disappointed. Last time I went I had the smoky eggplant/lentil stew and it was AMAZING!!!

Wonderful place in Stamford to eat! Falafel pitas are super here. If you sit in or take out, the service is great and the waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. You cannot go to this restaurant without getting a craving to go there again. Perfect for an impromptu lunch with a friend or a dinner with a significant other. Wonderful, casual atmosphere.

This place has ruined me for falafel. They’re not exactly traditional… but everything is delicious. Fresh, crisp toppings really take them over the top. The quality of the chicken shawarma varies day to day. Some days it’s the best I’ve ever had, other days it’s just good. Make sure to get the hot sauces, and one of their house brewed iced teas.

Have been here once before and the food is pretty good. Came back on Dec. 11. I am not sure if the waitress was brand new but she was one of the worst waitresses I have ever had in my life. This is a small restaurant and she acted as if she was the only waitress serving 100 people. Would forget requests we had such as another glass of water while she just stood around waiting for things from the kitchen. Brought a friend there to thank them for their help and I was a bit embarrassed by the service.

Stopped by this wonderful little restaurant for an easy dinner tonight. My best friend and her husband live in the area and visit this place regularly — I’d definitely head back on my next trip up. Bonus points for Dr Browns soda in a can AND really, really yummy/indulgent halvah packaged to go.

Came here on a blustery winter day for a tasty low key dinner. The place is cute, small and cozy, I’m actually surprised they even offer alcohol, but they do. We sat in the front corner and started with some hummus with chicken Shawarma, it was delicious. Homemade hummus with pulled chicken and a dash of olive oil served with whole wheat warm pita bread, yum. I was happy they had some non alcoholic options for drinks, so I went with their honey mint lemonade, which was really sweet and tasty, loved the mint. After hummus we had their spinach and feta phyllo, which is basically a spinach pie, it’s layers of spinach and feta in a crispy pastry. Highly recommend this. For a main course we split the garlic chicken pita. It was fantastic! The pita was so flavorful and came with cut up pieces of chicken, pickled cabbage, some hummus and tahina. They also gave us two sauces on the side if we needed more flavor, one was similar to Frank’s red sauce and the other one was a green spicy sauce. The waiter was really nice and helped us in choosing a main dish and the prices are very reasonable. I don’t eat Middle Eastern food too often, but overall it was better than my expectations. I will definitely be back!

This is one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in Fairfield County. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the ambiance is beautiful. You would think it was expensive, but reasonable. Highly recommend this joint.
