Nicks Pizza

This place used to be great, But now its complete trash. The restaurant seems like it cant keep its staff since every time i come theirs always someone new! new on the phone pickup, new waiters ect.
First on phones, new people comes with fuck ups. they dont understand the menu at ALL. seems like they dont train them just slap them in there and do the job, there used to be a girl named Lora/​MJ that helped alot! after her a boy with glasses named bryan was very helpful and both always knew my order on POINT! But again nicks can’t keep its staff and those people have left, most likely found something better than this trash place. Good for them. Now there’s a rude whale on the phone and more new people messing up.
Waiters– ALWAYS ON THEIR PHONES, ENOUGH SAID
also for the years of going there whenever i asked for a manager there seems that the owner is too cheap to hire a manager and expect the phone guys to fix the problem or someone in the kitchen, since i can tell the owner is never around…

Amazing pizza place!!! Everytime I’m in stamford I have to stop in and grab a pie. Great hospitality! I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food.

Was at Nick’s Pizza last night with 23 other ladies and the food was very good. The menu selection was very large. There was something for everyone. I would definitely go back again.

Maria did a phenomenal job catering our son’s engagement party 5÷29÷16. The food was superb and the staff who delivered it was very professional. My guests enjoyed the food so much, I was repeatedly asked where it came from. I was so pleased with the event overall that I would use Nick’s Pizza again in a heartbeat.

Slice of regular was way overly greasy, and the crust was flavorless and too hard. Lots of cheese, blah sauce — nothing tasted of good quality. Nice free Coke though with 2 slices!

I have been here a few times. Food is overpriced and is bland and doesn’t seems to be cooked well. There have been times where I have waited 25 minutes for the waitress just to order my drink. I just got up and left. Good bye!

Been ordering here for years. Love the food. Went to dine in this weekend and the service was terrible. Like everything that could get messed up, did!!! Food was still good, but the good taste was offset by the untrained wait staff. Huge bummer!

There is almost one good thing about this place. … if you want a good family restaurant and Hope Pizza Restaurant has a line out the door as usual… then you can come here around the corner.. to the emptiness and wait twice as long for the service. Maybe they get the dish right. .maybe the waitress doesn’t spill the food.. Maybe the food might be yummy.. maybe it won’t have the A/​c blasting in the middle of winter. … maybe the experience will be good this time. …
Close to10 times i have tried. … but the maybes never happened. This place is absolutely awful. The food has been good a few times. mostly it is over priced and inconsistent. But i have just had it with the service.. So I’m writing one of the most scalding reviews i have ever written. This way it burns in my mind to give them no more chances. I keep trying here.. but now i have had it. I have never had a good server.. and the kitchen is super slow.
They get one star because i didn’t get sick from the food.. and Unilocal doesn’t allow negatives.
Nicks.. good bye. I will wait in line and fight for a parking spot at hope pizza. It makes sense why that place is busy and nicks is empty.
Nicks does have a bar.. so drink up.. That is the only way to enjoy this place.

Sometimes I can tell when a restaurant is run by good people who care, and I think this is one of those places. The folks there have always been nice to me and to my wife as well as to my kids, and we enjoy the food. My kids love the pasta and even the sautéed broccoli with garlic, so you know it’s good. They recently remodeled, and I like the improvements.

Amazing Pizza. Love the toppings and the thin crust best in Stamford. Delivery was fast, driver was friendly.

Was excited to try this pizza place on our non-​healthy night. needless to say I would have rather just eaten a salad; we did a white pie with prosciutto and mushrooms which I feel like should be hard to mess up. but it was just bleah. something just tasted off with the crust and there was like such a minimal amount of toppings it was a joke. An entrée pasta was also just not that good. Time to search for a new option.

Awesome pizza, ask for it a little well done and it is simply to die for. and the hot oil pan pie is way better than rico’s or colony. You will not be disappointed.

I joined Unilocal just to review this place. Awful.
The delivery guy was rude and while yelling at me because he couldn’t get inside my apartment building he couldn’t even look me in the eye. Rude and he had no balls.
Not to mention my tip was over 20%. Having worked in customer service for many years I like to leave large tips. Never again and certainly not here.
Instructions were clearly left through seamless if the delivery driver could not get in my building to call my cellphone.
Vodka pizza tasted like cheese pizza. Scattered carelessly with a couple tomatoes, literly 3 small pieces of bacon and barely the taste of vodka sauce.
I recommend this place to no one. ZERO STARS.

I was honestly not impressed at all with Nick’s and expected better given the reviews on Unilocal.The pizza was way to greasy to stomach more than one slice. The flavor was really not all that great either. It was also on the expensive side.
I have not tried any of their entrees and can’t comment there.
Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Nick’s Pizza is delicious! It’s so awesome that they have gluten free options for us GF folks! Their service is quick and they do a nice job. It’s a little pricey for GF food but not too bad over all. I usually do take out but have dined in once. It’s a low key environment, but always busy in the evening — looks like I’m not the only one that likes Nick’s!
Update: moving down to four stars because I spoke to a lady on the phone to order the other day and she was SO rude! She picked up, said «hold» and put me on hold for 2 minutes. Said, «what do you want?», I told her and then she hung up. I didn’t even know if she got my order! Luckily when I went in for pick up my food was there, but she was so insanely rude to me it’s making me think twice about calling for takeout.

Esse restaurante foi um achado na nossa rota! Seguindo de NY para Boston, fizemos esse desvio e tivemos grata surpresa de encontrar o Nicks! A comida estava ótima, bons ingredientes, bem apresentada e bem servida. Recomendo aos viajantes!

Hands down the best pizza in all the land. I’ve tried many pizzas and none compare to nicks. I recommend it to everyone.
And the pasts capricciosa mmmmm so good.
If you want to try a topping on your pizzza, have the sausage

I only had the margarita pizza– but it was pretty good! Will definitely be back. Nice casual pizza parlor for a family pizza night out. Prices were good too.

Came here on Thu pleasant staff attentive service. It’s a neighborhood restaurant. Good prices and good food! Never too crowded.

I’ve gotten pizza from here a couple times when they had a special going, 2 large pies for $ 18. Their pizza is just okay. Its not great but its not terrible.
Don’t think I would get their pizza at regular price but I wouldnt mind for $ 9 a pie.

We are Seamless junkies, and I think the name Nick’s Pizza made us always think they only had pizza, so we passed over the menu when it came time to pick our dinner delivery.
But Nick’s is good, quick delivery (much faster than advertised on Seamless) and so much more than pizza.
First, the bruschetta is delicious. Just enough tomatoes and basil to cover the entire baguette pieces. And at least 10 pieces in one serving — very generous.
Second, the garlic knots are addicting. They are so easy to pop in your mouth, over and over, and we devoured the whole thing.
To offset the above carb intake, I also had the greek salad, which was good, with lots of feta, and a very tasty house dressing. I usually don’t love dressing, but this one was good.
The chicken parm wedge was also good — with lots of chicken, cheese, and marina, served on a nice fresh roll.
No, I did not eat all of the above myself. we shared. Though, it was so good, I probably could have.
