Easily my favorite place to eat in Stamford. Sandwiches are incredible whether you dine in or take out. Even their simple bacon, egg& cheeses are spectacular, but with all their specialties it’s hard to go for such a simple meal. Favorites include The Viking, the chicken & waffles(best cooked buffalo wing I’ve ever eaten), breakfast empanadas etc. I could rave about them all day. Only down side to this place is its small and can be understaffed however it’s size adds to the charm in my opinion and the staff is super friendly. I have recommended this to my culinary school friends if they happen to be in the area. A Stamford must try.

Home run!!! The food here at Magee ‘a is interesting plentiful and delicious. I had the bacon egg and cheese empanadas. With a gorgeous sirachi cream sauce. And the breakfast burrito is outstanding. Great coffee and fresh squeezed juices. I had the breakfast whoopie pie this Mornin. Best pancake experience. Ask for it. Eat it. Own it. Fantastic.

Tried this place out for breakfast, so happy I did. The food is incredible and the restaurant is very clean. The place is small so it can fill up quick but it was a great first time experience overall. I will definitely be going back for breakfast again and to try their lunch menu.

Just had the fish tacos and they were SOOOOO good!!! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I wish the prices were a bit less. But SOOOOOOO good. I can’t wait to try another dish!

You have to try the breakfast empanadas! They are super delicious! Excellent food and service is terrific! This place is a bit hidden but once you find it, you will love it!

This place has delicious comfort food. Nothing really healthy except for salads. The«I’m going back to sleep» French toast is delicious. The«whatta waffle» is great too. My husband always gets the 7am fries and he is obsessed with this place-he brings me here at least once a week. The tatchos are also highly recommended!

Good food, slow service. Waited an hour for a turkey sandwich once. Waited 8 minutes to order food once(no line) and had to walk out and go somewhere else. But the food is generally worth the wait. Better to call your order in ahead of time though.

One waitress for the whole place who also handles the cash register! One cook! My breakfast was served 45 minutes after the people who sat next to us and sat down at the same time. Not a good experience at all.

Magees is a great spot for weekend brunch. There aren’t a ton of tables, but if the place is crowded you can take your food to go. I usually have the nutella waffles. A belgian waffle covered in strawberries and nutella, with the whipped cream. Not the epitome of health, so this is definitely a weekend treat only. If you are looking for something a little more healthy«the plate» is a good choice– two eggs cooked any style, side home fries or tater tots, your choice of chorizo, apple wood smoked bacon or ham, seasonal veggies and an English muffin. This past time we had the fried chicken sandwich– buttermilk fried chicken, bacon, green leaf lettuce, vine ripe tomato, bread and butter pickles, sriracha. It was awesome. All sandwiches come with some homemade potato chips which come in a variety of flavors including, spicy, ranch, bbq and plain. Pile the chips on the sandwich and you have a perfect lunch.

Im in love. Shhhh don’t tell my wife! MacNcheese stole my heart. The #1 Pick sandwich was unforgettable, and I will definitely be back! Thank you for having such a different menu! It is worth checking out. Gourmet food at hidden curbside.

Quick and delicious! Somewhat pricy for breakfast but good quality ingredients. The service was quick! There isn’t much parking at the restaurant so we had to park across the street. I had the southwest breakfast burrito! It was yummy. The eggs were cooked to perfect and the wrap was lightly toasted. My boyfriend had the pulled pork sandwich for breakfast and was equally as satisfied. He said the pork had great flavor and the eggs on his sandwich were cooked amazing as well. Finally, they had a great selection of fresh juices if you are interested!

Excellent place for a different style of breakfast. Ended up having a great conversation with the great owner. Very respectful and considerate. I will return. The Empanada breakfast was extremely presentable. Please get a Mango Juice if you go.

Just happened to come across this place on Unilocal.Great little find! Small cozy little joint. Coffee was delicious. The breakfast was great, I had a veggie & cheese omelet with potatoes, the omelet was filled with veggie and tastes great! We also got the waffle sticks which are coated in cinnamon /sugar and Come with 2 dipping sauces. It was also very good but a bit too sweet for me. Service was great, food came out prompt. Note– if you go with kids there is only one high chair. Also we didn’t see a restroom but we didn’t ask.

Had discovered this place on instagram — as I follow a Stamford feed. They had amazing pictures on instagram so we decided to venture out and give this place a try! Looking at the menu — they had lots to offer and everything sound great! We finally decided on: — the #1 pick full sandwich(which came with a bag of homemade chips) — Fried Chicken lunch box sandwich(which was a half sandwich, with a side and cookie — and it came in a lunch box!) — lemon curd cupcake The #1 pick sandwich was a sweet pull porked sandwich which was really tasty! Fried Chicken sandwich was good — although it was a bit hard to put it in your mouth to take a bite! The chips — we got the plain flavour — which was really plain — we thought it would have been seasoned with salt — but it was really just deep fried potato chips with nothing else. The cupcake was dry and just flavoured with icing, so that was a disappointment. overall, sandwiches are good, just stay away from the cupcakes.
