Best mom and pop deli around. The place is busy as all hell at lunchtime so be prepared to wait. Great sandwiches with better names. Some of their sandwiches get a little weird but if you stick to the basics, you wont be disappointed.

I have lived in Stamford all my life and did not discover Jenna Marie’s until today! And let me tell you — they did not disappoint. There are very few delis in the downtown Stamford area and it’s been hard to find a very good one. But I am very pleased with my visit today. I ordered the«Bullet Tooth Tony» sandwich which has chicken cutlet, chipotle mayo, arugula, and melted swiss on a sesame wedge. I topped it off with some chips and a San Pellegrino Aranciata. My taste buds are very happy… I will definitely be returning very soon! I was in and out of the store within 15 minutes. For first timers, check out the menus on their website before you go. The only menu they have posted in the store is all way in the back right before you order. It can get pretty overwhelming if you are next and don’t know what to get.

Best lunch deli in Stamford. Tons of sandwiches, hot food, soups, salads but what makes them the best is the owner and staff. You go there more than once and they will remember you and talk to you. Just an amazingly friendly group. No place to sit so be prepared to take the food to go. No big recommendations, but they have pretty much anything you’d want for a quick lunch.

Was looking forward to trying something from their great looking menu. Unfortunately, they are closed when I got there at 4pm. (Usually open 8:30am — 3pm; Fridays, 8:30 — 2pm)

Can I start by asking why are there so FEW delis in downtown Stamford even though it’s a highly populated business area? The few delis that do exist, I have likely been to and have likely been very underwhelmed. The story changes when I visited Jenna Marie’s one lovely afternoon to pick up a sandwich for lunch. Don’t be fooled, even though this place is tucked away on Summer Street, they’ve got some awesome sandwiches on their menu. Call me a sandwich snob, but nothing disappoints me more than a sandwich with poor bread to «stuffing» ratio. Don’t fret; as I was so so pleased when I ordered the Al Capone, took my first bite, and realized this was the best sandwich I’ve had in Stamford! The Al Capone was on the«Weekly Favorites» menu and consisted of grilled chicken, arugula pesto, fresh mozzarella and bacon on the freshest and crispest ciabatta I’ve ever had from a deli! Choose from the wide variety of Dirty potato chips and you’ve got a satisfying lunch in just a few minutes. One of my colleagues chose the Los Pollos Hermanos which was grilled chicken with guacamole, hot peppers, and jack cheese. That will likely be my next choice when I return(probably sooner than later). What I appreciated about Jenna Marie’s is they have the proper amount of staff working during lunch. Our group of 4 ordered all different sandwiches and were out the door within 7 minutes. One suggestion for the business is please display your menu on the back wall on a proper board for your customers to read. It was a little odd that we all had to huddle in a circle to read the menu which was typed in font size 10. I did learn, however, that they update their menu on their website on a daily basis to include the specials. Do yourself a favor and before you head out to Jenna Marie’s, check out their menu online so you don’t find yourself squinting over their teeny tiny menu inside the shop. Another thing to note is they do not have tables to sit down like some other delis in Stamford, so remember this is take-out only! Happy lunching!

great catering — highly reliable, wonderful to work with Joe! Would say 4.5 stars because it’s sometimes really hard to get a hold of them by phone or email… have to keep calling back! But worth it – we run events out of UConn Stamford and repeatedly we get feedback from attendees like«this is the best meal I’ve ever had at a company event!»

If they had their roast turkey everyday, I’d eat there everyday. The food is very fresh, their specials always introduce interesting flavors & have an excellent variety of options.

I just started working in Stamford and responsible for ordering many luncheons from 10 people to 100 people. Joe and his crew have consistantly delivered delicious food, on time and they don’t forget anything. They go above and beyond with the customer service. Just did 100 people for lunch today, Chicken Parm, Meatballs, Sausage & Peppers, Roasted Potatoes, Baked Ziti, Salad w/the best dressings and rolls. Total success today and I look like a genius! I’ve tried 6 other delis in Stamford and none of them compare!

This has been a consistent deli. Good prices and delivery is always on time. I wasn’t very happy with the guacamole on the Jairo silver. The Russian roulette was better but a bit dry. Best sandwich I’ve had was the Pope of Greenwich Village.

I’ve worked in Stamford for a few years now, and this is by far the best all around deli. There’s a little bit of everything to please all the people I work with. You can easily go the healthy route or the hearty(and more traditional) route with this place. The quality of the food is always on point, selection is amazing, it’s clean, and the people that work there are really great. Definitely a place to check out for lunch.
