Great Fun

This is one of those add-​on great offers you get at the end of some other phone call. They offered free gas or mastercards for a free 30 day trial. I took it, realized you got half in the free trial and got the rest after 6 months of paying so OF COURSE I cancelled per instructions.
I am not so good at reviewing my statements but since the hacking thing in the news I started and imagine my surprise when they have been billing me. I called CS and talked to a rep who after much attempts to keep me enrolled, finally went and talked to her manager. When she came back she promised a full reimbursement of $ 200 plus dollares (I had no idea how long it had been going on) within 5 – 7 days.
I then found the other program similar to it that I had also cancelled the same day had done the same thing. Neither company reimbursed me as promised and the other company actually pulled another payment.
When I called a second time they said they had no record of me calling, no one had promised me $ 200 plus dollars, that I had not been paying that long, maybe it was one of their other side companies blah blah blah… and offered me $ 39.99.
I called the other company got the same story and was offered $ 87.80. Needless to say, I feel these things are SCAMS and when you are offered them be rude and say no and hang up.
