Atmosphere is uniquely French and exquisite. Wonderful menu with assorted cheeses and delicacies. The menu is authentic. Definitely something to experience with a musical ambiance to match. Our large party was served expediently. I recommend.

Chez Vous Bistro is a new French restaurant on Bedford street, very close to the Avon theatre– a perfect location for the restaurant to attract the affluent, intelligentsia, who attend the theatre. My dinner companion and I decided to try the restaurant on New Year’s Eve, a challenging restaurant night, but Chez Vous came through with flying colors. The restaurant has two rooms. The front is more glamorous, with a view of the passing traffic on Bedford, which is appealing. We were first seated in the back room, which was adequate. However, the owner graciously offered to have us move to the front room(as stated a sexier space) as some diners were on their way out. A classy touch. Chez Vous was crowded, but not overwhelmingly so, and seemed to cater to a sophisticated crowd. that is welcome for Stamford. We both ordered the Wild Cherry soup, which was to die for. It was warm and had a cherry base. Purely delicious. For our entre, I enjoyed stuffed Chicken with mushrooms and spinach and some sort of potato side. It was fantastic. My dining companion ordered the risotto, which he thought was decent, but not earth shattering. The bread with warm, melted butter was a hit. We were too stuffed for dessert, which is a good sign. We will be back to this wonderful, new French establishment.
