Bonjo is my absolute favorite coffee experience — everything from the service to the excellent coffee choices to the price compared to other coffee shops is excellent. I can’t say enough positive about Bonjo — My very favorite cappuccino’s are at Bonjo!

Absolutely LOVE BonJo Coffee! Recently having moved to Stamford from California, I was thrilled to find a local coffee roaster. There house blend, the BonJo BB Blend, has such a unique flavor that each time I order it, I find another flavor note that I didn’t realize was there! I normally just drink drip coffee but having the chance in learning more about BonJo and how all the coffee and espresso are roasted on premise I was intrigued to try their espresso. I was blown away, the espresso, has such a rich flavor unlike others that I have tried in the past that now I never leave without having a single shot of espresso. BonJo also offers single origin coffees and different brew methods. I was always so intimidated by this process but at the same time always wanted to give it chance and I’m happy I did. The staff at BonJo are so knowledgeable and friendly that it was such a unique experience that now I go in at least once a week and try a single origin coffee. BonJo coffee is definitely a MUST try because once you go, you’re going to be hooked and come back everyday as I do. Also note they have different specials throughout the month, which is cool to try new things!!! Love BonJo Coffee!!!

LOVE this place, used to drink the same old chain coffee but now I drink only my Bonjo! The coffees and teas here are delicious and superior. I’m from Seattle where coffee is everywhere, this place reminds me of a cute little Seattle coffee place, it has personality and I am always welcomed by the staff. Definitely worth trying if you haven’t! Life is too short for bad coffee :)

It breaks my heart, when I trusted this Co. When I purchased a used cappuccino machine that he told me he would guarantee it for a year. It has not been a year yet and it broke. I started this business on a budget n trusted him. He didn’t tell me when he installed it & after testing it that the water is hard & I may have problems. It broke down & he wouldn’t come & fix it. I hired another company to reassure myself, BonJo was being truthful. He wasn’t. I want to warn others who are like me starting a business & beware of this Company. Let karma take its course!!! I will also contact the BBB.

Customer service at Bonjo is poor. Girl with nose piercing at the counter didn’t greet me, actually she didn’t even acknowledge that I walked in the place or that I was standing right in front of her. Finally I had to ask her if I could order. She was talking with a co worker, used poor language, then got on her computer. Went in for the crema di caffe and it was really good. The price is a bit steep at $ 4 for a tiny 4 oz cup. She could have served it better rather than letting it drip down the side of the cup. I asked her how it was made as I’ve only seen crema di caffe in Italy and she said it was a mix and she didn’t know. I believe Bonjo may be the only coffee shop in Stamford with crema di caffe. I would not go there typically for any other coffee and may skip on crema di caffe completely after this experience.

Great taste and great price. They also have free samples of tea leaves and coffee you can take with you.

I have visited this place for several months now and still torn about whether I enjoy this place enough to make it a daily ritual. The staff are definitely knowledgeable about their beans and willing to share their insights. Is it better than the chains… of course. However, the limited parking, few seating, and no accessible USB ports or outlets makes it a grab and go coffee stand for the most part. The selection of brewing methods is one of the reasons to swing by. I enjoy being able to pick my beans from approx 10 and choice of brewtique. I do not mind waiting for a good cup of coffee. Especially, a good French press. If you are in a rush, they do offer pre-brewed options. They are increasing their tea offerings and I would like to see a more extensive loose leaf tea selection(not blends or herbals). I probably would visit more should the space accommodate comfortability and workability(outlets).

Had just stopped by New Harvest Roasters in Pawtucket RI(excellent coffee and service) as I was driving through and was greatly disappointed with Bön Jo’s lack of knowledge on their roast and coffee notes. Just a black cup of coffee out of a kraft. The looks of a great shop were deceiving. Drive on to Greenwich for Coffee Café. It is just 12 min away.

Excellent coffee. Dark, deep roasts. Really enjoyed their cold brew. A few offerings of light snacks and yogurt, etc. But definitely not a café of pastries and cute tables. Just drink in the awesome brew!

Very cute place for coffee. Loved the cappuccino. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend. Drawback: seating is not that comfortable and doesn’t make you want to linger and talk/visit with friends. That’s too bad.

This review comes from the perspective of a coffee snob; so take that in mind. I live in San Francisco, and mind-rocking coffee comes at a dime a dozen here; coffee baristas make up half the population here it seems ;) That being said, when I travel, I rarely expect to find good coffee — outside of big cities like Chicago, NYC, Seattle, etc. In those cases, I usually have to «settle» for a cheap cup of Starbucks or whatever the city has to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of places in Stamford that at least took a bit of pride in their coffee. This place is one of them. The Americano that I tried was definitely better than your average Starbucks Americano — the espresso tasted very fresh. However, it just didn’t have the same«savory» «umami» characteristics I look for in my espresso drinks. Could be the fineness of the grind of the bean — it just didn’t pack the punch of «umph» I look for in my morning coffee. Walked out of my way to grab this coffee(10 min walk from hotel). Not inspired to make the«out of the way» trek to grab coffee again during my future stays in Stamford.

Why did I not find them earlier? They are located 2 mins from my hotel. They have different types of coffee that you choose from and brewed in several different ways. They call the service Brewtique. Wonderful! Now my first stop after I leave the hotel for the office.

The coffee products at this place are great but pricey, it sets it self away from the competitors. Service on a few occasions there was poor, guess the attended need a cup of Joe herself. Don’t frequent like I would because of poor service but when I do I enjoy the coffee. Good to know as well coffee roasting done on premises.

I got tricked into go here bc if the rating so here’s the reality… The coffee is fine. Prices are okay, maybe on the more expensive side. My main issue is the food is not great and there is no bathroom and the customer service is not what I’d expect from a «local» joint. I asked if I could use the bathroom and the guy said they don’t have a bathroom for the public. No one was there but me. Just let me use the bathroom, guy. You’re selling diuretics. What I also don’t like is hearing loud house music playing with my morning coffee. It’s too early for that. Dunkin’ Donuts and Donut Delight are both a block away, you may be better off with one of them. They have coffee, bathrooms and better food for a reasonable price.

Don’t waste time going to starbucks, or the sad Dunkin donuts across the street. Come to this petite, amazing café. This is the best coffee in Stamford, in my opinion. Location is not great but good lord is it worth it. Sipping my hot Jo-Jo sized hazelnut latte right now.

If you ever find yourself in need of an eye-opener in CT, look no further than your local coffee shop BonJo Roasters. Masters of the Machiato, Royals of the Roast, Bosses of the Bean; this place is the roaster with the most(er). Sure to open your first, second and probably third eye(if you order that extra espresso shot) BonJo delivers a satisfactory experience hands down and caffeine levels up. I got a regular drip coffee, except that there was nothing«regular» about it. I drank it black, no sugar and was amazed at the dark complexities it offered. A coffee purist I can be on occasion for the exceptional brew, this was one such occasion. Miss Sarit got a salted-caramel-something-or-other and it knocked our socks off(I may have had one or seven sips to taste it…) as it came highly recommended by the staff. Located by the highway, with ample parking available this should be a must-stop, must-drink, must-have for everyone! There is seating available inside and they sell high-end espresso machines, plus wholesale beans by the half-pound. In addition to all things wonderful, BonJo successfully turns your average Barista into a Master Chemist, PhD with their skills at creating caffeinated cocktails sure to have you bouncing off the walls Looney-Toons style in Zero-To-Crazy seconds flat.
