If I could give this store a zero I would. I went into the store today with a associate from Apple who was extremely helpful because she knew how devastating a situation of mine was. She tried to help me as much as she could on her end but unfortunately we needed AT&T’s assistance so Today Friday April 1st2016. I rarely ever check my account but the new iPhone came out and I wanted to upgrade one of the lines that I have had since 2014 when I noticed that I was paying extra money for a phone I returned about a year ago. I went to the store roughly around 2:30pm to tell them about my dilemma and at first it seemed to go well. After a while the guy that was helping me seemed like he thought I was lying or something. He then went to get his manager. The Assistant manager Ray came and assisted. They asked for the IMEI and quickly ran to check it. It was kind of weird that they could remember a 15 digit IMEI number in a couple seconds. Then when they came back they had a whole different attitude. The overweight guy that was first helping me started saying he didn’t know what I was talking about and that I had to call customer service, the Apple rep was extremely annoyed by the ignorance of this customer service. Basically implying that I was lying about bringing back a phone and being bold enough to use the the same phone in front of them. «Does that even make sense?» The assistant manager Ray started to get loud so others could hear while I was on the phone with customer service as they told me to do so since they couldn’t help me at all in the store. I felt uncomfortable when People started to stare. I knew at this point he was just trying to embarrass me in front of everyone as if I was a scam artist or something. Ray must of felt good about himself. He was truly acting ignorant. I told them how there is no way it was the same phone and there is no way they could of remembered a 15 digit IMEI number like that because most certainly they wouldn’t be working there, But what they did was only remember the last four digits. And when I asked to see the number on the iPad I read it out loud so everyone who was helping me can see I wasn’t there trying to waist no ones time. I showed them that it wasn’t the same number .the phones did have the same LAST4 numbers but when I read the entire number it was completely different they only checked the last 4 digits. They were so full of themselves that they couldn’t check the whole number. At the end they made a huge scene and embarrassed me but I was right the whole time. This is the kind of employees AT&T hires .They didn’t know I also passed the test to work there but I didn’t take the offer because I had bigger and better opportunities lined up. But as any other associates there know I always make sure my information is correct before I try to ask others for help to solve a problem(they made me wish I never asked for their help). I know my technology, I know what’s going on with my bill. I’m not one of those customers that needs tutorials on there phone if anything I can give them! The overweight employee that helped me at first never even apologized after making the statement that he didn’t know why I was there. All he did was be a side chick to his manager Ray which of course Ray himself couldn’t even apologize and acknowledge he was wrong. Wrong role model to be guiding these associates for sure. He must of truly thought he was going to get brownie points or some overtime for participating in such childish acts of behavior. It’s truly sad that AT&T of Stamford mall would trust their reputation with employees like this.

Amazing customer service from Ian Kays! Ian’s willingness to help is a great reflection of AT&T’s customer service. So happy we switched to AT&T!
