This place is Hoppin in the mornings. Only three tables so small place but homemade flour tortillas and the best beans in a bean taco I’ve had in a while. The fellow at the counter is a multi-​tasking dervish. Seems a lot of people call in their orders in advance. Thumbs up!

During my time in Houston I have a searched and searched and searched fro the perfect taco like I used to find in my hometown… and nothing even came close until I found Solize Casa De Tacos. These tacos are perfectly loaded with potatoes and bacon and cheese. Tortillas are fresh and warm. I go in there every single weekend to grab tacos now. Best tacos in Fort Bend County without a doubt.

The best breakfast tacos. They are always busy but it’s because their food is so good. the only con i can think of is they are not open on sundays. Also they don’t accept cards but i don’t think that hurts business one bit.

Absolutely in love with this small joint! It’s cheap and the service is nothing short from outstanding. Get the Darlene & Eric combos and die. Recommend this place to everyone that loves breakfast burritos

There isn’t enough to say about Soliz. My bf and I detour all the time to pick up our breakfast tacos. Soliz is my favorite breakfast taco spot in Houston! This place could be considered a hole in the wall but don’t let that deter you.
You know how some breaky tacos are loaded with eggs and barely any meat? Not soliz. Here there’s there perfect amount of proportioning going on. I always have the «Nash»: eggs, bacon, cheese, potato, and chorizo. The owner is consistently offering amazing customer service and always up for small talk.
Helpful Hint! Call your order in 10 – 15 min before you get there. You may still have to wait in line to pay but they’ll be ready to go when you get there! Also, they only take cash!

Soliz is my all time favorite taco place, and had the best breakfast tacos ever made. I always go with the Nash but anything you can choose there is ¹⁰⁄₁₀ authentic and made with superior quality. This place has set the standard for a hole in the wall taco joint, with lines out the door and a free mini cup of salsa for every taco you order. They barley have a parking lot and only take cash– no cards.
If that isn’t the definition of a hole in the wall then I don’t know what is. This place is AWESOME and I wish I lived near by so I could enjoy their food every day.

We recently tried this place for the breakfast tacos and had the Nash and Darlene. They were straight up amazing. And we are huge burrito/​breakfast taco fans. We’ve lived in the area for 3 years and never ventured to go. Now that we’ve tried it, it’s all we want to go eat!

Soliz’s tacos are, without a doubt, the best tacos on god’s green earth. Sometimes it’s hard to get through on the phone, and sometimes the line is long, but these things are only a testament to the fact that everyone in the city is trying to get these tacos.
The tortillas are immaculate, the salsa is so fresh, and there are so many different varieties! And we can never resist getting a dozen tamales to freeze for later.
Call ahead, wait in the line, bring cash, and feel good about your decisions.

Family owned, made with lots of love. Everyone has to stand in line no matter what, and you want to make sure you bring cash. The customer service here is top notch!
Taco prices have steadily increased over the years, but they are still decently priced for the quality of tacos you are getting. Everything is made in house. My favorite taco to get is their #6 (Potatoes and Onions). The highly recommended is the Eric and Nash!

I was introduced to Soliz growing up and have been searching for a breakfast taco as good as theirs in all the cities I’ve lived in for 10 years, still hasn’t happened.

This has to be Staffords best kept secret great tacos! Always friendly and fast only open for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast tacos are Amazing!

I went to this place because I work in the area and I’m on a quest to find decent breakfast tacos close to my job. This place is ok for this area, because finding good breakfast tacos around here is proving very challenging.
I got three of the ‘Darlene’ tacos. They are supposed to come with egg, potato, bacon, beans, and cheese. I paid 9 dollars and some change, which is pretty pricey for breakfast tacos. I would’ve felt better about the price if the tacos had been worth it, but I didn’t feel they were. They put very little filling in the tacos compared to the taquerias I’m used to buying from (Jalisco, you should try it).
There was a little trace of egg in the taco, but there wasn’t any actual egg in it. As if someone put the egg in, realized it wasn’t supposed to be in, took it back out and I got the leftover remnants. Also, the tortilla is way too thick, so along with the little bit of filling all I really ended up tasting was flour and beans.
I was pretty disappointed after all the good reviews and great looking pictures of the food, and I won’t be back. And so, my quest for decent breakfast tacos in the Stafford area continues!

Awesome food and the cashier gave the best service I’ve ever had in such a short amount of time. I’m usually a predetermined eater but decided to give this place a chance. When I walked in, I had no idea what I wanted. The cashier explained all the dishes quickly and easily, plus had a friendly expression while doing so. Service aside, the tacos are GREAT. I consider myself a breakfast taco fanatic and these tacos just about blew all others out of the water! I ordered 2 Nash and 2 Eric tacos and couldn’t stop myself from eating one in the car. I never eat food in my car but the glorious smell of the tacos drove me to it, and I haven’t regretted it yet. If you love breakfast tacos, go to this restaurant and prepare your tastebuds; for deliciousness is coming.

This place is amazing! !! Always a request when I’m in town and always hit the spot! I always order the eric and soliz special (#20)and its amazing! Everything was fresh to order and their tortilla is perfect!!! Their salsa is good and spicy! Love it !!! And also they are super friendly! !

BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD!
I’ve known about this place since my sophomore year and I never got the chance to write a review till now. This is a family owned hole in the wall that has a great atmosphere, personality, and fantastic customer service. Every time I get the chance to come here, I pre-​order on the phone since they get pretty packed and busy (and I say whenever I get the chance is because they open till 2:00 p. m AND it’s cash only.)
–Nash (⁵⁄₅) homemade tortilla, chorizo, bacon, egg, cheese, and potato. BEST OF ALL WORLDS IN ONE.
–Eric (⁴⁄₅) same thing as the nash, but with guacamole and without the chorizo. Bacon is a must add!
–Fajitas (²⁄₅) plain and simple, tortilla with fajita meat and onions. I’d rather stick with my breakfast tacos.
The salsa is so delicious, I always have to get extra sauce and sometimes I buy a pint. It’s pretty spicy, but it does the job and I drench my taco in it with every bite. I always tell people about this place and most people that have had Soliz, agree! So glad I live near here!

This place has the best tortillas. They are perfectly fluffy and buttery (and therefore, delicious). As someone who has tried many a breakfast taco and someone who can tell the difference between a good carb and an amazing carb, I daresay this is a gr8 with an 8 breakfast taco.
I like to order the Eric without the onions. They are also decently sized and filling, so two can fill me up pretty well.
Also, you should call ahead because the lines/​wait can be pretty long during peak hours (mornings before school/​work).

Very good tacos and EXCELLENT service. Actually the service may be even better than the food. That is how they get the extra star.
Everything kind of taste like bacon to me, but it is good and a ton of people swear by Soliz. I have never ordered anything I didn’t like. Order in advance if you can get through on the phone. They are very busy, but super sweet.

Soliz is a local mainstay that has been around forever. A family run business where the specialty is the breakfast tacos that run the gamut from the usual to some very creative versions. Business is always steady, usually a line, and on Saturdays it’s a long one.
Eric mans the counter and he’s super friendly and knows many of the customers. The man is the ultimate multi-​tasker taking walk-​in and phone orders while handing out food and talking about sports — he moves in a blur at times.
Homemade tortillas, fresh ingredients, and a salsa that is sublime but not very hot are what makes the food shine here.
Bring cash because they don’t take cards

Hands down this place has the best breakfast tacos in town. I’m not sure if it’s the homemade salsa or the thick homemade tortillas that set this restaurant above the rest, but whatever it it they are doing it right. I usually get two tacos the bacon egg and cheese is my favorite. Simple, yet perfect. And I switch up my second taco for something a little more filling like a loaded Darlene with guacamole.
On Saturday the line is out the door but Eric behind the counter keeps it moving at a fast pace so it’s never as bad as it looks. During the week I call ahead and place my order, so it’s hot and ready when I walk in the door.
The service is amazing. Eric is great and multitasks to the extreme, moving quickly to get orders ready. He treats everyone that walks in the door like family, often remembering patrons names after a few visits.
