Sicily Pizza & Pasta

This is the second time we have eaten at Sicily’s and had an excellent experience. They deliver in less than 45 minutes. Pizza comes hot. The pizza is actually very good. I am not a huge pizza lover as I find it very greasy. This pizza however was excellent. It’s not homemade Chicago deep fish quality, but it’s about as good as delivery pizza goes. The veggies were fresh and crunchy, meats good, and sauce seemed homemade. We got the «Super Deluxe Supreme, Hand Tossed Thick.» We also ordered the pizza rolls, which were very good too. They weren’t greasy, very good and simple. One of the other ladies eating with us calls herself a pizza roll expert and felt they were very good. They are huge, there are 12 inches long (aka a foot). The cheesy bread was very good, it again was very simple, but good. It comes with marinara sauce. I am NOT saying this is gourmet pizza, but the best in the delivery realm. I call this fast food pizza. The people who take the orders are always nice and very polite, same as the delivery people. You also get a discount if you pay with cash.

My roommate and I ordered the Pizza Burger Muffulettas with very specific instructions. One with no vegetables, and the other with VERY SPECIFIC «ALLERGY TO MUSHROOMS, NO MUSHROOMS».
Upon receiving the muffulettas, I checked them both to make sure the right person had the right order.
Well.
Upon receiving one, it had mushrooms. Concerned, I gave it to my roommate, who isn’t allergic, but doesn’t like them.
We called SP&P to inform them of the mishap. They said «One said no vegetables, the other said no bell peppers» and proceeded to argue with my roommate about what was placed. I pulled up the order, and lo and behold it said No Mushrooms. Allergic to Mushrooms.
They had the nerve to ask if we wanted a new one made, or if we would be okay with a credit. Uh, can we have the food we ordered please? We spent $ 11 just on one muffuletta, why would we want a credit?
They do not take allergies seriously, at all. Beware.

Just the best pizza you can get by delivery in the city of Houston. We absolutely love it every single time!

Great place. I have been eating since 1996 since I was a teen living in Park Glen. Great family size pastas and the Mediterranean pizza!

The special muffaletta for lunch is divine and perfectly filling as it oozes with ham salami and gotta have both spreads, mayo and the unique olive spread. To top it off, just the right amount of cheese and seasoning on the soft made bread. Shaped like a circle. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had.

I have received a ton of flyers from this place. I finally decided to give them a try today. Order took almost twice as long as predicted it would take to get to me. After an 1 hr I checked on the status of my order, they said it was out for deliver, I am roughly 7 min from this place and it took them over 30 min to deliver. The driver wanted me to sign the receipt but did not have a pen, easily fixed I have one. I finally sit down to eat my pizza and it the wrong pizza, ordered a two topping pizza and got a big greasy one topping pepperoni that wasn’t even the same size. I will not be ordering from them again.

Call me shocked– had a coupon for pick up and closest pizza spot to my current location so what the heck… AMAZING food– crust was perfect/​crispy– no uncooked dough texture or taste. Just the right amount of sauce to cheese to topping ratio. Still not as good as authentic NY pizzas which I have yet to find in H-​town. And location a bit sketchy (wouldn’t drive to here at night but that’s just paranoid me) but very pleasantly surprised.

Pretty good pizza made the old school way. It’s literally right next door to my job. super friendly staff love their personal pizza it’s super fresh with lots of melting cheese. They always offer awesome coupons.

Yummy food at a good price, was delivered quickly and the delivery guy was super sweet.

As far as food goes it is delicious. They’re Mediterranean pizza, spinach pizza, and subs were excellent. I didn’t like the bread on their muffuletta and they put an olive paste instead of mayo like I requested. I ordered food there yesterday on the Eat24 app. They forgot my wings that I paid for and when the driver got here he said they were closed. At first the driver called and said he’d be here in 5 min after my food took an hour and a half to arrive. He refused to drive to my apartment because it was dark and he didn’t want to take the time to look for my building number. He even hung up on me. I told him I’ve had them deliver here before with no problem including the day before he brought our food. He wanted us to walk to the front of the apartments. 2 days ago they charged me twice and I still haven’t been able to get it refunded because nobody has answered their phone for the past 2 days. I hope they are open tomorrow because I need refunded for the second charge as well as the wings which were never delivered.

I won’t order from here anymore. They rushed my order and did the opposite of what I consider a simple request. Cut my calzone into slightly smaller pieces, I guess they didn’t care I was a repeat customer… ehh. They’re loss, I’m done.

This Pizza is total garbage. It is a mystery how anyone could enjoy it beyond filling an empty stomach.

I like there gyros. Food is pretty good. I only gave it a ³⁄₅ because when I picked up from them, they need to keep their kitchen more clean, and maybe have a little more professionalism. Maybe have employees wear uniforms or somethin. I went to pick up and order and the worker that rung me up was smoking a ciggarette out front minutes before and smelled like cigs. Once again, the food was good, just need to clean up appearances a bit.

First thing that comes to mind when I think of Sicily’s is the fact that they take foorrrrrreveerrrrr to make your food.
Second thing the staff, they’re kind of not friendly nor rude, they’re just boring. Guess they’re just trying to make it through the day, everyday, all the time.
Good things about this spot.
Their pizzas are okay but their calzones are better.
Their food is always fresh (explains why they take so gosh darn long).
It’s a local spot this one.

Hands down great pizza I ordered the XL pizza with three toppings I went to pick it up after 45min I walked in and walked out with my yummy smelling pizza got home and destroyed the pizza with my family it was good no five star because it didn’t make me go get another one of back lol thanks for reading and have a great pizza.

I love their pasta but their calzone is definitely where they shine. It’s a good bang for your buck and every time I get it I have enough left for lunch tomorrow.
The drawback to this specific location is that delivery can be quite slow so you really should put some forethought into when you’re ordering delivery. However, we just ask for pick up and it’s normally ready in less than 30 minutes.

This is an easy place to love. It’s my first-​choice for pizza. The delivery times are always a little long, typically an hour give or take 10 minutes, but the pizza and the lasagna are well worth the wait! I strongly suggest you order right before you get hungry.
The drivers are always courteous and friendly! I live in a place that’s kind of hard to find and when we get a driver who’s lost, I have always gotten a call to let me know.
Overall, this is a great place. (:

It’s a love-​hate relationship with Sicily Pizza…
I walk in there, and I hate it. It’s a run down, hole in the wall with ungroomed/​sweaty men.
Then I get home and bite into my pizza, and I love it. It’s everything you could want in a late night pizza place.
Every time I go in here, I ask myself why I still get food from such a place, then I eat the pizza and wings and remember why before you can say, «extra cheese please».
I recommend pickup: it’s cheaper and faster in my opinion (8.99 pickup special).
Even now, 5 slices and 7 wings later, I wonder why I let myself indulge in such a beautiful mess of cheese, grease and carbs… But I can’t explain it, it’s just a love-​hate relationship, that’s the only way to come close to my feelings.
There’s always a dominos close by if you’re not sure, but I’d get a Sicily pizza if they were the same price and size.
Pizza for breakfast, here I come!

Doesn’t even taste like pizza! First time understanding the analogy of tasting like cardboard comparison.

NEVER AGAIN! One star goes to the Diet Coke I ordered. It was the only good thing about this place.
I ordered from here online at Eat 24 and saw my delivery time was 45 – 65 minutes. It was raining at my job so the wait was no biggie. Until, 65 minutes passed. I called two times with no help. They didn’t know what was going on and I guess they don’t have their drivers #. 30 minutes later the driver shows up. She was not apologetic as she didn’t see a problem with her arrival time. Mind you we already tipped her online at the time of order, which I do not recommend to anyone.
We open the bag of pasta (Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo) only to find that it slid to one side and a lot of sauce got all over the inside of the bag. Worse part was the plastic lid was melted into the pasta. We were so hungry we did try it and Wow, Garlic overload! The chicken must come from a can. It was so gross.
Lets move on to the Pizza (Deluxe Pizza). Two slices were burnt and all the outer crust was as hard as a rock. I could literally knock on the table with it. The middle was soggy and it was all lukewarm. We tried to eat it too, again we are starving, but I could not get over how soggy it was and I was not about to bite the hard crust and lose a tooth!
The chocolate chip cookie we ordered was the type you can find in a vending machine. Really?! You make everything else but your own homemade cookies. I guess I should be glad as they couldn’t mess that up.
I did get my money back, thank goodness! Needless to say I will NEVER order delivery or otherwise from here again. You have been warned.
