Sake

Sake is a great place to go on a date. The restaurant is quiet and beautiful inside, and the curtains on the booths give you a little more privacy than most other places. We ordered the spring rolls, Thai Basil with Chicken, and Vegetable Yakisoba. Everything was tasty and I appreciated that they actually spiced up the dishes, unlike some other establishments that don’t seem to believe we like spicy food! We ordered the Thai Basil with a spice level of 3.5 out of 4 and it was incredibly hot but still delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try the sushi and lunch specials.

Loved the food the first 3 times I came but today’s meal was pretty bad. The drunken noodles didn’t even taste lol drunken noodles there was no spice and too much salt/​soy sauce. I couldn’t even eat it. What a disappointment!

Me and my family love this place. This is one of our regular selections. The staff is always friendly. The sushi is great. If your in the mood for something other than Japanese and like spicy food the curry is very good too.

We love that they offer Phở here in Stafford. Their vegetarian options are on the low side but their food is always good and they’re wonderful w kids.

Food is great! But for some reason the service has progressively gotten worse each visit. It’s so disappointing because my partner and I really enjoyed coming here. But we will take our business elsewhere bc they seem to not care so much about the quality of service they provide. We stood at the hostess desk for about 10 minutes and no one came to seat us while a server was sitting at the table folding utensils into napkins. That’s just one instance. I really hope this business does something about their quality of service bc its unfortunate.

We went here the first time for lunch. The atmosphere here is casual, yet almost cozy. It is decorated with beads and curtains, which gives a feeling of privacy. We were seated immediately, and our server was very prompt in greeting us and getting our drinks. The appetizer came out quickly, as did our mains.
Hubby and I got an order of the Bangkok spring rolls to share which were quite tasty, but would have been better with more filling. I wasn’t fond of the sweet sauce they were served with either. For our mains, hubby had the red curry with shrimp, and thoroughly enjoyed it. He said it had just the right amount of heat. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp, and they were also very good.
Overall, a good experience. I want to come back and try some other items on their menu.

Really impressed with the service. The young lady was polite, funny and very professional. I had Thai hot 3 shrimp and it was amazing. Lots of shrimp and great spicy sauce. Cleanliness of the whole place impressive too. Just found a new place up on 610 that’s worth the drive from downtown Fredericksburg.

Love this place. My wife and I have lunch here two to three times a month. Always good food, always friendly staff. The spicy dragon roll is amazing.

Since moving here and exploring other restaurants in the area Sake is one of my favorites. Great quality… friendly service… and get sushi presentation is awesome! We continue to visit Sake whenever we want sushi.

YUUUMMM! New in town and living out of a hotel until our house is ready. Great atmosphere, clean and updated restaurant, great service and the food is awesome! Totally coming back with my little family.

I was extremely upset that their «Phở», it tasted like chicken noodle soup. When it arrived all of my noodles were stuck together, they had not even been cooked. GROSS, never again.

It is a hit and missed. Got the seafood puket… Was too salty. But the green papaya salad is excellent!!!

I’ve been here twice and always get the Alaska roll which has snow crab and it is so good. I also get the salmon skin hand roll which is the best I’ve had in a long time. Great place to eat and everyone is very friendly and offers great suggestions if you aren’t sure what you want.

Our first time here. Atmosphere is nice. Service is friendly. We had fried calamari, my 5 & 8 year old had the California Roll, husband had the White Tiger Roll, and I had the Pad See Ew (chow fun, lad na)
Tip: if ordering the pad see ew, maybe ask for extra sauce (gravy). Really missing the way mom used to make it. Unfortunately, Sake’s didn’t hit the mark. A little salty and the noodles were thick — my 5 year old said it was chewy.
All in all, nice place. Will be back in the future to try something new.

This is by far the best sushi place I have had on the east coast. Fantastic presentation of the food and a great staff.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is SPECIFICALLY FOR THEIR BEEF PHAD SEE EW ONLY. I have no idea what the rest of their food is like
that being said, I have never had anything more disgusting. Flavorless and the meat was dry. Definitely overpriced for that kind of quality of food.
However the service is really good, and their Thai iced tea is phenomenal. Nice atmosphere, really cozy.
The room is dark, plenty of booths, there are curtains around at each booth, plenty of booths there too

This place is so yummy. The sushi is so good. Very fresh and excellent presentation. They have a great selection of sushi combination rolls. The Thai food is good too! The spicy food comes in 4 levels of heat and 2 was good for me. They also have beer and sake. The Thai fried rice with chicken was a little bland tonight but I gave five stars bc the other food was really good, service is great, nice atmosphere, and I really want this local treasure to stay in business. They have awesome carry out too but it’s our 2^nd time and there weren’t lots of people. :)

This was my first time here and I’m glad I came. I hope that Sake continues to do well, because I DO appreciate restaurants who provide fresh choices with excellent service. The interior of Sake is quite pleasing and comfortable, with beads and curtains which provide a subtle privacy to your dining experience. Each of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Asking the waitress about menu choices revealed that she was informed and eager to please.
The appetizer of Shrimp Tempura consisted of beautifully made shrimp, crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. It also came with fried zucchini and sweet potato.
For my entrée, I chose the Basil Sauce (Kra Prow) with shrimp. This Thai basil sauce with garlic, Thai spices, bell pepper and fresh basil leaves was an excellent choice, as suggested by my waitress. Given the option of 1 – 4 on their spiciness scale, I chose #4 and wasn’t disappointed. The perfectly cooked shrimp, fresh basil and the spicy broth made for an excellent meal.
A great little restaurant with decent prices make me want to come back soon!

100% amazing food and customer service. The waiter truly went above and beyond. Our 6 & 8yr olds were even happy with zero complaints.
Our waiter recommended the Panang Curry and it was perfect. (I had the level #3 w/​chicken. It was the perfect heat and I like spicy). My husband ordered a few sushi rolls. The presentation was beautiful but short lived because he basically inhaled them before he started sneaking bites from my plate.

Sushi ain’t bad here. I’m used to San Diego Sushi, so I’m hard to impress. I would definitely come back. Their spicy tuna is unique from other spicy tuna. Definitely worth getting if you stop by. Also I’m excited to try their Thai coffee since it was out of stock when I was there.
The service was very friendly. As well as the other customers. I great environment.
