Love this Resale shop. Everything is ALWAYS very organized. I can really appreciate that. Also on Wednesdays they do a 50% off sale! I have found some decent women’s clothing in pretty good shape. Better shape than some Goodwill items I’ve purchased. Check them out.

This is your average thrift store here in the Houston area, maybe a little more on the cleaner side, given the area. You will find the usual 2nd hand clothes, shoes, bric a brac, books, furniture, electronics, jewelry, and anything else out on the store floor they think they can sell. Much of the clothing I have seen is pretty outdated, so it’s not really for younger people, unless you are shopping for a Halloween outfit or a special event. Prices are about what you would expect, with some good deals to be found every now and then.

First off when rating thrift stores u have to say what items you generally thrift for me that’s clothing. It just wasn’t a big enough selection for menso I was disappointed. Staff was extremely friendly though and I saw some good finds in the furniture section and even a washer for about 100 bucks that’s didn’t loo more than 6 years old

So, I might be ditching Good Will(GW). What you see at this location, which I must say is the best out of all the other Pennywise locations, is how a thrift store SHOULD be. Unlike GW, the prices at Pennywise reflect that as well. Shop on Wednesdays for 50% off clothing. again, something you’d NEVER see at GW since they never have a % off on clothing. I bought a Club Monaco top for $ 2 and a Forever 21 Fall wrap around sweater for $ 2 as well. Instead of paying $ 3 – 4 and up at GW for books… Pennywise sells books for 25 cents for soft cover books, 50 cents for hard cover books and if you buy 2 you get 3 books free. HOW can you beat that? You may not get all the clothing name brands you would like but its all in the way you wear it, right ;)? Sorry, Goodwill, our relationship is OVER.

Awesome! The store was organized and the staff was super friendly. The proceeds are for an excellent cause. It takes a while to see it all, so grab a snack and a water bottle!

Unfortunately those who have poor things to say about Pennywise do not know that this resale shop gives i’ts proceeds to battered womaens shelters. I have been to this shop, there’s lots of great deals to be had! Also, if you have clothing, or any of the other items listed below, please donate to this center. The Fort Bend County Women’s Center’s PennyWise Resale Centers create revenue to support the Center’s client programs by offering donated goods to the public at low prices. They also afford Center clients and their children an opportunity to find free clothing, furniture, and other household items, major necessities in establishing a household independent of their batterers when they leave the shelter. Items available at PennyWise locations include furniture for home and office, computers and electronics, bikes, sporting goods, jewelry, and clothing, including everything from jeans to wedding gowns.

Not a bad little thrift store that benefits the fort bend women’s shelter. The store is a bit musty, but has a large collection of clothing and furniture. They also have a prom/evening/wedding gown section that was overflowing with dresses.

I love resale shops. I’ve been in many of them over the years, but this one, sadly, was very, very sad and depressing. Very small men’s section. Very small housewares section. Now, they did have some VERY impressive furniture in the back. HUGE pieces easily worth thousands of dollars. But every other item was old, very used, and not worth their prices.
