Jersey Mike’s Subs

Best sub place in Stafford! Have you ever seen a picture of a meal on a menu that looks so good that you order it… ultimately to be disappointed in what it really looks like when you receive it? Well, Jersey Mike’s subs are picture-​worthy works of art. They consistently taste fresh, bread is moist, and they are not stingy with their meats and veggies. I would highly recommend Jersey Mike’s. The restaurant is on the small side, but I have never had a trouble finding a seat.

My experience at this locations was satisfactory. The food was great and the staff was professional and friendly.

OH MY GOSH !!! You have have got to try the 99 Mike’s Way! It’s the very best steak and cheese I’ve ever had. The manager recommended it saying it was a 56 and 43 combo so to speak. They are so friendly here too! My experience at this location has always been exceptional.

This is a great brand with great food, unfortunately this particular franchise (1495 Stafford Market Place Stafford, VA) falls way short of what I have come to expect from Jersey Mike’s Subs.
I buy lunch for my employees every Monday. We take a vote on what we want and I get it. Jersey Mike’s comes up often in the rotation. We normally get a box of 40 mini subs. I think that works out to about 13 large subs. We did this quite often when they first opened and had no problems, but we started getting major attitude when we placed orders recently. I contacted the corporate office to let them know about this problem and they put me in contact with the owner who apologized and then said I misinterpreted the manager. She said catering orders, which I guess is what this box is, need 24 hour advanced notice. A) I’m not giving anyone 24 hours to make and store my lunch (gross) and B) What is the difference if I bring 13 people to the store to order sandwiches? Are they going to get snotty and tell us to leave or make us wait 24 hours to make our sandwiches? It makes no sense, but the owner’s and employees’ attitude during the last couple of orders put it over the top for me. This franchise will not get one more dime from me.
Stafford, VA has a captive customer base. There are a lot of people working here, but not a lot of options for lunch without a longer-​than-​lunch-​break drive, so they will survive despite the lack of accountable leadership and poor attitudes. If you go here don’t expect the same level of service you would get at a real Jersey Mike’s.

The guy in front of us had a complicated order and they didn’t reach across the counter and strangle him. He wanted his cheese heated but not melted! Really!

LOVE Jersey Mikes! I have never been disappointed with any sub I have ever gotten here!
My fav is the Italian! Lots of fresh Italian meat with all the right fixing’s and the bread is always fresh and on point!

I had the original Mike’s in New Jersey. I lived by the first store and to eat the sub it reminded me of the old days. Virginia do not have a sub that gives you enough meat in the sandwich, only Mike’s has it. I like it and it taste great.

Once I discovered this place I go quite often. Their sandwiches are seriously delicious & filled like how advertisements look. It’s quite expensive compared to other sandwich places but you get what you pay for. I love the brownies but sadly they don’t include those as something you can have with the meal. It’s separate & an extra 2.50 they have fountain drinks or bottles so there’s a lot to select. I love that they have a reward system which can get you a free sandwhich if you come often. My only complaint is sadly they have no way of making cold sandwhiches hot like a toaster oven or something. It’s apparently a jersey mikes thing. Since I’m pregnant I can’t have cold sandwiches which sucks. But still it is very delicious.

Stopped here to pick up a hot salami sandwich. Young man working there wouldn’t do it. He started making the sandwich, and when I asked again to have it heated up, he told me no way because of cross contamination.
This location is off the 95. My local Jersey Mike’s in CA would never say such a thing. I order this sandwich frequently and they don’t even bat an eye.
This location leaves MUCH to be desired, and lost my business today.
There ate plenty of other places to choose from in this area for a bit, so choose wisely.
I went over to Panera instead to a much more pleasant experience.

Luv the subs here… They have an incredible menu loaded with some great subs! All made with fresh and tasty ingredients. The bread is AMAZING too!
Only issue is that they have a 7.5″ and a 15″, but nothing in between. They really need a medium size too. The 15 is HUGE and the 7.5 sometimes just isn’t enough.
Really enjoy eating here as often and we can!

This place has the best subs in the area. Much better than Quiznos or Jimmy John’s. Would highly recommend it. My favorite is the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak.

Fresh subs that are huge and so good! All employees are friendly and the place is really clean.

Steak and cheese is very good and so are all the cold cut sandwiches. Staff friendly and very quick to take care of you way better then subway.

James & I made a quick stop here enroute to VCU Hospital.
He convinced me to try the # 9, Mikes Way.
I had the # 9, but My Way.
That means no onions or peppers.
It was OK.

This place has SERIOUSLY gone downhill since it opened. Previously, I would have readily agreed to the previous positive comments, but not now. Three times was the charm for me– the restaurant is dirty (floors not swept, tables left with crud on them, bathroom a wreck). They have also become incredibly cheap with regard to amount of ingredients on the sandwiches, and have even done away with lemon slices for iced tea and water, and extra condiments, such as little packets of S &P, mayo, and mustard ! I have also observed the staff congregating at the back of the store playing on their phones, including the MANAGER, who is fairly new, and somehow these above listed unpleasant changes seem to have coincided with her arrival, which also includes lack of enthusiasm from the staff. Too bad– it really was a good place.: (

I love this place… and so do my kids, who swear their allegiance to Subway. I think I have finally turned my husband into a believer too. Anyway, this being a chain, you can leave some, you can take some… TAKE THIS ONE!!! My daughter and I went into this Jersey Mike’s last Saturday at 8:55 pm, yes we were those people, and ordered subs. At least they were cold subs. They were fantastic. And the staff was awesome. Didn’t really bat an eyelash and seemed happy to help us. Now for the couple that came in at 8:59 with a order written on a cell phone to include hot subs, sorry for ya! No, they handled it with grace. I would highly recommend this place. They are about to edge out my all-​time favorite Jimmy John’s on customer service alone! If they would only add alfalfa sprouts to the menu!
Seriously though, give them a try. Awesome subs if you are into that kind of thing!

Easily the best subs in the area. Located in the middle of shopping center affords this location ample parking as well as convenient proximity to Starbucks, which is next door.
The subs are beyond fresh, with the bread being made around 5am that morning, I know because I’ve driven by on my way to work and seen the staff from the previous night through the window rocking out to music and hard at work doing prep. Subway cant say the same.
The fact that they shave the meat fresh for each sandwich makes a huge difference and I believe the better quality ingredients really set this miles above other national sub-​chains with the exception of perhaps Jimmy Johns which ties in my book. You can’t go wrong with getting your sub Mike’s Way which includes lettuce, tomato and oil and vinegar. The service is always efficient with the staff there always being fast and polite. Oh also the sweet tea is surprisingly good.

I drove from S. Stafford (30 minutes) to try Jersey Mike’s. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my meatball sub v.m.
The quality of the food is excellent and quanity is generous and it tastes homemade. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Wish they were closer since I find myself keeping a look-​out for a new one closer to home.

This place is great! First off, the people who work there are so nice and personable. The food is fresh and delicious. It’s so hard to find a quality place now days and this place is it. Very pleased.

Didn’t receive a single smile from the employee’s. Food was okay, a bit over priced for the quality. Mainly, the owner or manager was right outside sitting at one of the patio tables; chain smoking, spitting on the ground & picking at his feet the ENTIRE time we were eating. Absolutely repulsive.
