Baskin Robbins

Hey! I don’t normally like to «spread» negativity, but I did want to share this: (& yes, I know it’s a negative thing) Yesterday, my husband & I took our kids to Baskin Robbins in Stafford for an ice cream cone & was going to grab our free DD coffee for Veterans Day (He’s a Marine, I’m an AF Veteran). I understand that not all locations have to participate, but the sweet cashier girl said «We aren’t allowed to participate. in ANYTHING like that!» The Manager/​Owner guy came around– & snapped «We do not support American Veteran Day!» in almost broken English. He obviously was not American, though I would not venture to guess what his nationality wa– possibly Indian, possibly middle eastern. He was obviously angry (we were probably not the first ones to ask!), but to say «We do not support America Veteran Day» really enraged my husband. I just wanted to share bc there’s all this drama going around about Starbucks Red Cup, but this guy flat out said he did not support «American Veteran Day» (He said it like that– not plural!).
