I have been going to Lisa Freeman for the past few years. She always does an amazing job on color and cut. The great part is that if you don’t like the color or if it fades, she will go out of her way to make sure that you are happy with it. So I’m not quite sure what the last reviewer is speaking of. She claimed that Winning Image is the best salon in Stafford, the place where you book a certain service and they perform a more expensive service without telling you and then try to make you pay for that one. Lisa Freeman is very personable and makes me feel like I’m an individual and not someone that is just there to pay her salon bills(cough cough Winning Image). She did a color and cut for me on 9÷6÷12 and it looks fantastic. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the color. But don’t take my word, check her out for yourself! Brittany

We went here based upon this Unilocal feed. It took 30 minutes to be acknowledged and taken back for a shampoo. A lady rinsed out half of the shampoo and then left me there without explaining herself. After 5 minutes I saw her texting in a corner. Eventually someone else was sent to rinse out the rest of my hair. They told me to have a seat in the corner while my hair dripped water. My husband was patiently waiting in the front of the salon. From there he could not see me, and was awkwardly annoyed by Lisa’s children who ran around him, climbed on each others’ backs and swung on the front door. A man walked in twice demanding to see Lisa alone where they talked for extended periods of time leaving her current customers clueless. I asked her to trim ½ inch off my hair and to trim my bangs shorter. She spent 10 minutes actually cutting my hair. The other 30 minutes were spent taking with the man who walked in or managing her children. $ 50 for this. I left no tip. I won’t be returning. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

Owner Lisa Freeman is a genius with color! I spent ridiculous sums of money at a number of very«swanky»(read: pretentious) salons in DC and NoVa in search of a great colorist and stylist. Right up until I asked a woman in a parking lot who did her hair and found Lisa! I have NEVER gotten as many compliments on my color as I get now. Never. Heck I get compliments on my color and cut literally two days before I’m due to see her for a touch up and trim! How often does that happen?! My hair was short with a vanilla-at-best color job due to a series of skill-less, boring stylists and colorists at a series of exceptionally snobby places with totally undeserved reputations. Now, thanks to Lisa, I’m on the road to getting my long locks back and the growing out process isn’t so awful. I can’t recommend her enough! 2 Dye IV is cute, small, friendly and delightfully unpretentious, so make an appointment today and be sure to ask for Lisa. Side note: Although I haven’t had my nails done there, the manicurist Tony has a steady stream of steadfastly loyal ladies who swear by his skills, so you may want to check him out too.
